The full list of All PS Plus Games is a truly eye-popping sight. Sony had promised over 700 titles with the new PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium tiers, but according to our calculations it’s actually exceeded 800! In fact, the exact number is 802 games, although this does include some regional exclusives, so your mileage may vary depending on where you live.
This number does not include the latest PS Plus Essential Monthly Games, however – nor the PS Plus Collection or Time Limited Trials. Now obviously there’ll be much debate about how many of the games are actually worth playing, but there’s no doubt that Sony has seriously outperformed its pledge with this initial selection. Impressive!
Remember, you can find the full list of All PS Plus Games through the link, and we’ll be bringing you much more content over the coming weeks to help you get the most out of your newly expanded game libraries!

And yet I'm struggling to find something I'm really keen on playing. Oh well, Syphon Filter it is!
@Golem25 I mean, fair play, but there's no denying there's a lot to choose from.
Lawnmower Simulator!!!!!!!
@Kooky_Daisuke Agreed about the PS3 downloads.
I do wonder if anyone knows if you're able to download the PS3 games on a PS3 as part of your sub? Knowing Sony I highly doubt it, but also can't see why not since that hardware supports them.
£20 spent to upgrade my sub to Extra for 6 months and 27 games downloading currently, I'd call that good value!
@get2sammyb Just wondering where the 802 number came from? I questioned Eurogamer on this too.
The PS+ all games pages has (I think) 160 rows of 5 games + 2 = 802 so I am guessing that is where your number comes from. However there are MANY duplicates listed.
The PS Store website lists 407 games though admittedly it's incomplete as 11-11 memories retold is on PS+ to stream but not on their list. Didn't look any further.
My guess is the total is nearer that 700 stated.
Not that it's a big deal, the total number of games is FAR less important than the number of games we each individually want to play right now, and if that offers value. But thought i'd point it out.
@velio84 Pretty sure Stray will be more than 19 outside of PS Plus anyway
I upgraded to Premium for 30 myself. Streaming worked great when I tried it for 15 minutes - hopefully it's consistently that way.
Doesnt this include all the ps4 and ps5 duplicates? So Ghostrunner for instance is listed twice.
I took a break from work about an hour ago to have a look, and honestly, I'm impressed.
I'm Premium for the next 10 months and by no needs a hardcore gamer, so I'm probably all set till then.
The problem with these services is starting a game. Once I'm in it, I'm in it. Just platinumed Horizon, so I'm taking suggestions for my next game.
PS Plus - even better value than the best value in gaming!
@Kooky_Daisuke It would be awesome(next best thing) to allow PS3 games to be downloaded to actual PS3 hardware through your account. Also,you could still purchase dlc for these games.
Having just got into using a wheel I'm excited to try stuff like Assetto Corsa Competizione, WRC 10 and Wreckfest, maybe that truck racing game too, plus things like Concrete Genie and Returnal
I upgraded to PS Plus Premium, only cost £6 for the remainder of subscription.
I’ll then decide whether to keep Premium or jumping down to Extra when renewal comes about.
It took Game Pass a while to become what it is, Im of the mindset we should give Sony time to see how the new PS Plus evolves.
@Voltan I also had another try of streaming this morning and was very impressed. I played Motorstorm appocalypse and it genuinely felt like I was playing locally, rock steady.
Its been a while since I last streamed via Now, and no doubt they have improved the infrastructure. Looks like there is some value in those ps3 titles for me then, as im always online.... Nice 😁
I mean it’s had its desired effect; I’ve downloaded games I wouldn’t normally buy. I don’t think anyone can say there’s ‘nothing’ for them - that simply can’t be true. It’s not an amazing selection as of yet but I do think PlayStation will be working magic behind the scenes and we will see a lot more in the future.
So which tier is better extra or premium?? I can upgrade to extra for £24 or for premium £35 I have 258 days remaining on my current essential subscription..
@TranslucentEye For the sake of £11, id try out the Premium to be honest.
There isn’t much there that interests me (that I haven’t already played) but for someone just getting into gaming, it’s an amazing catalogue of games for a reasonable price.
@Golem25 in most cases people met with this scenario will simply not subscribe, I suppose. But I'm sure there will be some games you've not played, or think you might not be interested in, but can now give a go and potentially be surprised. When I broadened my horizons of the types of games I play I rediscovered the joy of gaming, so hope you can find something that gives you the same boost.
I guess you got the upgrade at no extra cost though, so have not lost out on anything 😁
Im very much looking forward to some content on here providing recommendations, classic reviews etc.
800+ games is a great thing to have but much like Gamepass I have subscribed, scrolled, and left a bit overwhelmed on where I should start!
@NomNom took me 230 hours to platnim horizon fw.
If you want even more time sunk into a game, I followed Horizon with Elden Ring. That took me over 400 hours for platinum as it requires three play throughs, but I cant recommended it enough if you have any intrest in it.
For something with a little less commitment, miles morales or returnal are both well worth the play if you havent already!
Im all in for Stray once that appears!
@stretfordend yeah think I'll upgrade to premium for the remaining £35 then cancel lol least that way I got premium for the next 258 days..
@Voltan The streaming is great for me but I have fairly good internet. I managed to beat Sniper Elite 4 on authentic difficulty streamed so the latency really can’t be that bad.
I take it the PS3 games are just the vanilla versions? No GOTY style add-ons available?
Thinking of Fallout 3 expansions and F1 Race Stars circuits.
@sanderson72 it depends on the game. Fallout 3 is the vanilla version. Others may have DLC and it would be indicated in the game's description. Most probably don't have DLC.
@nessisonett Same for me. I’m on 200gb internet and using an Ethernet cable on the PS5 and haven’t had any issues with streaming so far. I will say that I noticed a significant difference going from streaming on PS4 to streaming on PS5 for some reason, so maybe there’s something there that affects it.
I need DQ8 to get onboard🤩
@Milktastrophe That's a disappointment - might invest in a few more PS3 discs then!
No R&C: Tools of Destruction still? And there is MotorStorm Apocalypse but no Pacific Rift....what gives?
@velio84 wouldn't it better to upgrade to premium for £35 now ? And wouldn't it push the price up depending on how many days I have left?
Only £13 till mid November for the upgrade. So even though not a huge amount I'm interested in that I don't already own. It's still a no-brainer for me. And the mid tier is probably where I'll sit going forward.
@get2sammyb which is remarkable seeing how many games they removed. Especially their own studios games. It’s a lot of games I’ll give you that. It all still seems a bit flat to me. It shows the importance of clear messaging and PR. They killed my hype and I’m stacked for three years.
Am I the only person that didn't just instantly upgrade? 😁 I'm so hyped for this service (extra) but I stopped myself last night, because I'm going to at least finish God of War first before upgrading, then check I've not got anything else in my back catalogue that I've forgotten about before going all in on Extra 👀
Then it's just a matter of do I put many, many hours in to Ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding or Greedfall right away 😁 or mix and match some less time sinky games like Spider Man and Guardians of the Galaxy for a while.
Then there's Saints Row coming out at a really bad time, and I'm kinda not sure on, but will happily embrace it's horrible hipsterness and hopefully have some amazing none too serious sandbox fun with. But will it be worth buying on release, and will that be an issue for all games like that now this service is up and running? If people like me who would probably just buy it because it's new and shiny, are now playing something else on the catalogue with all that choice. Hmm
@themightyant agreed the most important thing is the personal Killer to Filler ratio and how much you already own. For me it’s all a bit meh. I’ve downloaded a couple of things this morning but I’m far from blown away.
@velio84 They should, it's the best way to bring the joy and community of gaming to everyone 😂
@NomNom I'm like that, I generally play one big game at a time, especially if it's something with an engaging story or interesting world. Although I don't care about platinum hunting, just getting everything out of the game that I can.
Things that are on the service now that I've done that with when the were originally out RDR2 of course, Far Cry 6, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, so I'd of course recommend all of those to you, chances are you've played them, but who knows.
Also I've just noticed Kingdom Come Deliverance is on the catalogue, now that's definitely worth playing, even today! Even all the pop in in the world couldn't ruin that amazing game!
Oh and God of War, which I'm nearly finished with from my back catalogue, Phenomenal game.
@render I mean if I'd only ever had Xbox, I'd be looking and thinking they are trying to say "Come to playstation, play the countless AAA titles that you missed out on, All for less than gamepass"
For kids who only had the one growing up I can imagine PS5 for Christmas just got even more in demand.
If you're one of the formerly ps now territories with access to ps3 streamed games,great. IF you're part of the Deluxe regions with no streaming,that retro games list is substantially less for the $75 extra in my region!🤔
Still not sure if we'll see much of a boost to the ps1/psp & super disappointing number of ps2 titles that are on offer thus far....those ps3 server blades aren't going to last forever!
@Ravix It really does seem like a good reason to consider a PS5, especially if people were put off by the price of new first party titles!
Around 20 games that are on my wishlist and many many more I'll try anyway. Can't wait!
I'll admit, looking through the store and seeing Ape Escape, Kurushi and Tekken 2 tickled the old nostalgia bone. But Sony really need to add folders because people are going to need to sort their library.
@Shstrick Yep, the PS5 has the latest improvements when it comes to Ethernet tech, the Wi-Fi card etc. Stands to reason that you’re getting better performance than the PS4!
Good for new people or those who dont play as much. Was looking for more classic games
@mrtennis1990
People love to complain. If none of the new tiers appeal to anyone, they don't have to upgrade if they choose not to.
The additional tiers are INSANE value depending on what you're looking for.
I got 14 games downloading right now. If for whatever reason I don't think the additional price is worth it, i can always downgrade back to PS Essential and carry on as before.
People love to complain.
Here in Europe cut that number to 750 and almost no PS3 games.
Only thing that has annoyed me is the amount of PS3 games that have suddenly been dropped from streaming many of which are Sony published games like Killzone and Sly Cooper as well as many of the Sega and Konami games but they probably tried to negotiate a better deal. Saying that the PS Now list was stagnant for some time and there have been a lot of PS4 games added to make up for the losses. I'm covered until the end of November so I'll see how things go with adding new games until then but there is plenty of new stuff to keep me going until then.
@Wolfie_Pie some games don't seem to appear under their categories but if you go to browse you should see the whole combined list and its there.
It's an objectively strong lineup of games (especially with PS5 stuff like Miles Morales and Returnal in tow), but between the lack of day one games and ways to help subsidize the cost of the subscription, you'd have to play on it a lot to justify not just buying the games on sale, IMO.
@Golem25 which is my experience with Xbox Gamepass. Finally I can have 2 subs where I can be indecisive
@velio84 RDR2, Miles Morales, Celeste and Ghost of Tsushima are alone worth the 16$ I have to pay for 176 days. Can't wait to upgrade
@Golem25 I’m in the same boat. Oh the struggles of a seasoned gamer, already played everything offered that I deem interesting.
I’m sure the service will grow and I will, much like with game pass, try out new games I was on the fence on buying at some point but didn’t.
@nitram2k11 my connection is so slow so I have to download what I really want 1at a time, for the upgrade with extra i'm satisfied with the service, but let's see how I feel after my plus expires next year 🤔🤔
@Relygon it's like the PS1 days with demo discs, I can finally try games that I was on the fence on and see if they are worth it
@ThePizzaMule STINES GATE ELITE, i was woke on that 😁😁
@Shstrick you are lucky, there are some gamers that are on 20mb max by luck to download 50gb plus for 9 hours and slows your connection down for everything else, it's not a lot of fun, but you need a lot of patience 😤😤
I can get a whole year of the Extra tier for the price of just 2 new release games, so I think it’s great value. I signed up right away.
@huyi PSN download speeds sure are slower today, seems it’s a popular service!
@DrClayman not sure if any one answered but no you can’t
One thing that having all these additional games downloaded has reminded me of:
Sony, for the love of God give us folders!
but how many were on PS Now before?
Does anyone know if you can play or download previous ps3 purchases from years back? Was a rumor i had heard
@Titntin You can platinum in one run by using cloud saves, or if you don't have PS Plus (like me) then you can use a USB stick. I think it took me roughly 140 to leasurely plat it, but of course it can be done much faster.
@Ravix No, you are not alone. I still haven't upgraded mine as the biggest selling point for me would have been the PS3 games, but since they're streaming only, that kills that as my internet isn't good enough to actually enjoy them properly.
On top of that, I own a large portion of the PS4 and PS5 games I'd be interested in playing. There isn't a whole lot there for me yet, along with what you said that there are plenty of other games to play to keep me from considering subscribing as well. Maybe at some point if I have the time to actually play several of the Final Fantasy games on there that I haven't played, but not anytime soon.
@Golem25 I think that’s the Netflix problem: so many choices overwhelms the consumer sometimes. Honestly it’s not a problem; having more options is almost never a bad thing. But I know I’ve scrolled up and down my games list for an hour at times trying to pick something to play. I’m weird tho
@NeoTokyo404
Thanks. I was aware you could do this, but I chose not to and so got the alternate endings via new game plus. I was also limiting myself to offline mode as I didnt want to get any help with the bosses. It sounds silly I know, but I was enjoying it enough to want to really grind the last ounce of entertainment from it! Thats pretty rare for me, but it was a rare breed of game!
Im also just slow anyway, looking in every corner 😀
I was only interested in the classics & that's a huge disappointment there's barely any ps1 PS2 or psp games & less PS3 games than there was with ps now 👎🏻
Massive dissatisfaction with this service. Not a single Mario Kart game to be seen. Super Mario Kart is on the Switch so it should’ve been here day one as well. Disgusting by Sony.
800 is very impressive, but still waiting for them to add more Classics!
@stretfordend This is exactly what I was hoping to do. My regular PS+ expires in 6 weeks, but I'm only being offered a 13 month extension?
@carlos82
I've been playing GT7 since release and bought ACC last month. The FFB is another level or 5 compared to GT7. Not as polished as GT7, but physics, realism make up for it imo. Once you've done a few laps and got to grips with it, you're in for a treat!
@Ravix Yeah, I’m with you — despite the excitement surrounding getting on board, if I’m honest with myself, nothing on the catalogue is a ‘must play’ for me right now, since I have a substantial backlog of games I’ve bought or have through the ‘old’ PS+. So I’ve no reason to upgrade until I am feeling the urge to push one of my owned games down the list and move one of these up to the top. Given the fact the upgrade fee is prorated, every day that you postpone paying the upgrade fee, the price goes down, so it makes sense in my case to wait.
It’s an impressive value for those who haven’t already bought/played some of these gems like GoT, Returnal, Demon’s Souls, MM, etc, etc.
@Would_you_kindly
I would hope the classics section grows enourmously over the next few months as I have to agree its very limited effort thing at present.
Theres plenty for me on ps4 an ps5 to be happy to be in the service. But if I were mainly in for classics, id hold fire for the time being too, unti theres more on offer.
@velio84 It's not like people don't go back and play games they've already played before.
@Titntin I was already a ps now subscriber so I've been 'upgraded' to premium but I obviously only subscribed to ps now for the PS3 games & they're offering less now all the PS4 games I care about that are on the service I already bought so there's really nothing about this service that benefits me apart from a few ps1 ROMs lol
@Would_you_kindly
I'm exactly the same - been subbed to Now for years.
I always wanted to go back to Death stranding so the directors cut is good for me, and I never played Miles Morales (thought I might have vertigo issues) so now I get to try that too. There's still a few Ps4 titles I haven't tried, and I've been all in for Stray since I saw it, so that cant come soon enough.
You are correct though, those of us who have been on now for ages have only had a few PS5 tittles added and maybe a few more ps4 titles, but the service people are only now starting to consider properly has been pretty much exactly this for years. We do have classics, but they are so pathetic atm that they are not worth anything, but I expect that to improve!
Was happy before and still happy now, as I think the service will grow now that more attention is on it.
