The DioField Chronicle was announced during Sony's State of Play back in March. It's a strategy RPG from Square Enix, and although we turned our noses up at the name, the project does have potential. We haven't seen the game since, but a dedicated livestream this weekend should give us some much needed information.
The stream — which promises a better look at gameplay — is going to be in Japanese, but it's possible that Square Enix will be publishing a lot of details in English as well. It begins at 4AM PDT / 7AM EDT / 12PM BST / 1PM CET / 8PM JST on the 2nd July — that's this Saturday.
Could a release date also be on the cards? It's certainly possible. After all, The DioField Chronicle is targeting a 2022 launch, so we'll need a confirmed date sooner rather than later.
