Here's a game we haven't thought about in a long time. Lollipop Chainsaw, developed by Suda51's studio Grasshopper Manufacture, was a PS3 action title starring a zombie-slaying cheerleader. It did reasonably well at the time, and has gone down as a bit of a cult hit. Fast forward 10 years, and one key person says it's making a comeback.

Yoshimi Yasuda was CEO of Kadokawa Games, which published Lollipop Chainsaw in Japan, and he's now opening up a new company, Dragami Games. In the above tweet, he says the game is back, in development at this new studio, and we should look forward to it.

There's no other word about a revival of Lollipop Chainsaw yet, but this seems like confirmation either way. As for what the project actually is, we don't know — a remaster, a remake, or even just a straight port to modern consoles would be welcome.

Hopefully it won't be too long before we learn more. Would you like to see this game come back from the dead? Rev up those chainsaws in the comments section below.
