MultiVersus is the free-to-play platform fighter from WB Games, boasting a diverse roster of characters like Bugs Bunny, Batman, and The Iron Giant. We went hands on with it during the closed alpha stage and came away pretty impressed, but even if it's a good time, we're not sure we can stomach its Trophy list.
Appearing on Exophase just before the arrival of the open beta, the MultiVersus Trophies are geared towards playing the game a lot, winning a lot, and doing so in specific ways. For example, you need to not only play but win 300 online matches. You will also need to get 100 double ringouts, get 100 ringouts using your downward spike move, and get 200 ringouts with a projectile. One more: you need to play 500 matches in a party.
Obviously, you don't need to worry about any of that if you're not bothered about Trophies, but if you are, and you want that Platinum gong in your collection, this one seems like a big time investment. You can peruse the full list through here.
Will you be going for the MultiVersus Platinum, or is this asking a bit much? Prepare for battle in the comments section below.

Looks like it should be easy enough to use multiple consoles and play with yourself. Just maybe take a long time.
This sounds like a trophy list that will be boosted a lot by trophy hunters.
For a free to play game then I don't mind trophies like those, be a different story if this was a paid game though
Crazy boosting here. My hats off to anyone who gets these organically as this is a massive time sink.
Unsurprising for a f2p game, I think
@Milktastrophe playing with myself sound good. Maybe I will give it a try 😂
Should free to play games even have trophies? 🤷
@rjejr
Um. Yes. Ofc
Good. People who care about trophies shouldn’t be pandered to they should be admonished
Yea, this list is rather disappointing. I hate when they do this with F2P games. List would have looked alot different if It wasn't.
@Milktastrophe 😂😂 or just waste a f*ck ton of time in FFA matches
@Voltan ye 😅 doesn't fall guys have it as well
@Playstationuser that's certainly... a take. The people who actually fully complete games should be punished??
What? No way, this is an easy one!
Winning 300 games in Street Fighter V took me about 60 hours, and that includes spending about 1/2 of that time in practice mode or single player or watching replays. Playing 500 matches took me even less than that amount of time (considering my win rate was 40% at that time).
The longest trophies to get will probably be 100 ringouts using your downward spike move, and get 200 ringouts with a projectile, but honestly...the downward spike is such an important move that it'll do you good to master it. Projectiles will be kind of annoying, I'm predicting. Personally, I'd rather they had a trophy like "Reach XX Rank" that's more skill-dependent instead of grind-dependent, but like people have said...that's one way to help player retention.
I will be ignoring the trophies, but thanks for sharing!
