Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo is an upcoming psychological narrative adventure game inspired by the seminal 1958 movie of the same name (well, the Vertigo part), and it's coming to PS5 and PS4 on 27th September in Europe and on 4th October in North America.
Telling an original story of obsession, manipulation and madness, Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo is freely inspired by Hitchcock's cinematic masterpiece, paying tribute to the classic film. Players will explore several different timelines in order to separate the facts from fiction, and the truth from the lies.
The title originally launched on PC and was received well (as you can tell from the accolades trailer), and so is worth keeping an eye on.
What do you think of Alfred Hitchcock - Vertigo? Have you seen the film it's inspired by? Wax poetic in the comments section below.

there will be no free or paid upgrade for persona 5 royal on ps5. where is the article about that? im fkn fuming right now
@Irae Just seeing this story now, that is disappointing. I've bought both the base game and Royal at this point
Well i love hitchcock's films seen all of them, so will be picking this up for sure.
While the rest of the comments talk about Persona 5 Royal, lemme just say that this looks nothing like Vertigo and idk why it even has the Hitchcock name attached
@Irae what has this got anything to do with the article?
@Deoxyr1bose it says in the article inspired by the film vertigo, so thats why im guessing it doesnt look like the events in the film. Hopefully it will be great, will be picking it up for sure.
@Deoxyr1bose It’s a bit bizarre, isn’t it. Like releasing a boxing game called Martin Scorsese’s Raging Bull that has nothing to do with Jake La Motta. Hopefully they’ll add enough references to the film to warrant the name.
Game looks interesting but will sadly have to wait for bargain bin sales!
I'm seeing it's at a 66 on opencritic. Not sure I'd agree that it's "received well", but may be worth a look.
