Warner Bros. has been slowly putting out trailers for Gotham Knights, each focusing on one of the four main characters in turn. Today's video is all about Red Hood, and it looks like he's the most aggressive of the Bat-Family vigilantes.
The character was brought back from the dead, which has left him rather moody, and he takes out his frustration with criminal injustices by beating baddies to a pulp. Sometimes he shoots them with guns for good measure, though we're sure they're rubber bullets or whatever. No one dies at the hand of Red Hood, right? Right?
Anyway, you'll also be able to play as Robin, Nightwing, and Batgirl, all of whom have been spotlighted in their own trailers. Which hero will you play as in Gotham Knights this October? Leap into the comments section below.

Sorry but the lengthy batgirl gameplay has put me off this game. The villain dialogue was just soo awful.
Now Red Hood does look badass but that was all cinematic angles. Guessing him dying and coming back was in the comics? All i know of red hood is the story that was in Arkham Knight
@Danloaded Jason when Robin was killed by the Joker and then decades later DC brought him back from dead as Red Hood who has zero issue killing.
Huh, the more I see of this game, the less enthused I am. Maybe it's one of those "you gotta experience it" kind of games. If so, I'll experience it, on sale.
"The character was resurrected in 2005's "Under the Hood" story arc, which saw him becoming a murderous antihero known as the Red Hood"
Second paragraph of the wiki entry. Traditionally, yes, Red Hood is very agressive and kills very freely.
Though, in the Red Hood and Nightwing trailer, the dev said he uses "non-lethal bullets". Which is a departure from other depictions of the character, but that is what they are going with here I guess.
There you go.
I'm excited for this game. The lack of fun triple A games has been noticeable, and I cannot wait to jump in. I love the Arkham games, but they are hard to play now. Low frame rate kills the flow of combat.
Looks awsome.
@Danloaded the Batgirl footage is literally the tutorial part of the game, that explains things. And it's different depending on what character you start with. Every game starts with this similar styles of dialogue . Before getting in to the main plot of the game, yes Jason died in the comics and came back via the lazarus pit, via the league of assassin's
Is this the first time a depiction of the Jason/Red Hood character uses non-lethal force?
Granted its been a long time I keep up with the comics, or any DC media featuring him so I'm likely out of touch but I find it a bit suspicious he takes the "non-kill" route (atleast for now), even in a team-up with the Batfamily he always seems like he would continue killing the bad guys.
I guess it will be explained in this game's story.
This whole Idea that batman does kill. Isn't exactly True , earth 1 batman avoids it unless necessary . Earth 2 batman kills people every batman in the negative Multiverses kills people. This game is set outside earth 1 . Meaning there is literally no rules of what should or shouldn't happen. This game isn't even set in the Arkham verse. That's the fun of having a Multiverse. unless it says it is part of a particular earth. Canon is irrelevant
Love the combos with the other bat family!!
Although, it's going to take a little getting used to seeing Jason so freaking huge but nonetheless still excited and going to pre order it soon.
Looking forward to playing this with my kid. We've already pre-ordered our copies as he's really excited for it. Me? Less so, but I'm definitely ready for it. I like the Arkham style of gameplay and the 'Bat-family' and while I haven't seen anything yet that's 'blowing me away', I'm sure it'll be plenty fun.
Game still looks like fun, hopefully it won't be delayed like Marvel's Midnight Suns was.
