Battlefield 2042's Season 2 is called Master of Arms and is set to go live on 30th August. While the big changes aren't coming until Season 3, there is still a fair bit here for fans to sink their teeth into.
First up is the inclusion of new specialist Charlie Crawford, a support expert able to lay down heavy fire with a deployable minigun, which will likely be very useful for defenders on certain Breakthrough maps.
There is the new AM40 assault rifle, PF51 sidearm, and the Avancys LMG for players to employ, and the new vehicles Polaris RZR, and EBLC-RAM that looks like a ton of fun to whip around in.
Finally, there is a new map called Stranded, which features a landlocked cargo ship situated at the bottom of a drained Panamanian lake. Not exactly the most original idea, but it looks cool enough, and with the promise of more to come in Season 3 and beyond, it will suffice in the meantime.

Its a step in the right direction..team deathmatch and squad deathmatch need to be permanent match making options because although portal is good fun the fact its on p2p servers is archaic and very inconsistent if the host has hamster net..
@Northern_munkey Agree and said this since launch.
