Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is an incredibly deep isometric CRPG, and it's coming to PS4 on 29th September in the form of the Enhanced Edition, which is a revision of many of the base game's mechanics. Treasures of the Midnight Isles, a roguelike endless dungeon-style DLC, will also be available from launch, but sold separately.

In the Treasures of the Midnight Isles, players can create a custom party and explore a cursed archipelago in a stand-alone roguelike mode, or engage with the content throughout the main campaign, starting from Act 3, and allowing you to keep the powerful new gear to see you through the rest of the game. It functions similarly to the Beneath The Stolen Lands DLC for Pathfinder: Kingmaker.

Considering that an average playthrough of Wrath of the Righteous is likely to run somewhere north of 100 hours of gameplay, Treasure of the Midnight Isles can either serve as an extension of that or as a way to test out character builds before you begin, provided you are willing to pony up the cash ahead of time.
