Season: A Letter to the Future has been delayed by several months, and the picturesque cycling adventure game will now release Q1, 2023.
The PlayStation console exclusive game, developed by Scavengers Studio, was initially revealed back in 2020 and was targeting a Fall 2022 release date. The developer announced the delay on Twitter:
Season: A Letter to the Future is just the latest in a long line of games that have been delayed into 2023, which is shaping up to be a monstrous game for video game releases. Recent examples include The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, Forspoken, and Sea of Stars.

Are they going to take the time to make it just that little bit more pretentious?
This looks really neat, bit up its own arse but still neat.
Hopefully it won't get completely buried by the monsters coming out around the same time.
This game looks gorgeous and exactly the type of alternative gaming experience I cherish. That being said, I would like to remind folks who's running this studio, and why stuff like this will continue to happen without a cultural shift:

Far out, man. What a bummer.
I'll play it if it's on PS+, don't see myself shelling out the cash to buy this specifically though.
That is a shame, really wanted to play it.
‘Fall’? You mean Autumn.
as an Aussie this whole “Fall/Autumn/Q1” thing really leaves me lost - can we maybe get some actual month names/ranges in here? like “Oct-Dec 2022” or…??
@Johnnycide Whats pretentious about the game is it because it does something else? I feel like a lot of people cant handle something different. Does every game need to be as deep as the WWF? Yeah i looked at your avatar after making this claim. 🤪
