A new trailer for Marvel's Midnight Suns has been released, this time focusing on The Hunter, an original character created for the game but one that is justified and given grounding in the expansive Marvel Universe lore.
The Hunter is the child of Lillith, the Mother of Demons, an antagonist who has intervened during critical moments throughout world history. There are no happy families in the Marvel Universe, and the two quickly came to blows. The Hunter managed to destroy the physical form of Lillith long ago but gave their life in the process. In the present day, HYDRA has resurrected them both, through a combination of science and dark magic, which is where you come in.
Customisation options range from gender and appearance to the abilities used in combat and their role on the battlefield. The Hunter will also serve as the player surrogate, no doubt, and the vector through which the narrative of the game will be relayed.
We learn about your headquarters, The Abbey, located in a pocket dimension from which you lead the resistance against Lillith's demon armies. We also get to meet Charlie, your faithful Hellhound companion, who is, in fact, a good girl, despite her demonic appearance.
Are you looking forward to Marvel's Midnight Suns? What kind of Hunter will you create? Let us know in the comments section below.

"Big head" code activated.
I think I will really like this game. It's the superhero game I'm most hyped about. I'm playing XCOM 2 right now but it's a bit too deep for me. Midnight Suns will be perfect.
Not really, I was down for an Beurau-esque (I can't spell that word, EVER) Xcom-come-Marvel game. But it seems to be more along the lines of the original Xcom with deck building, which sort of loses my interest.
Will wait to see some lets plays and Gameranx's "Before you buy" video before making up my mind.
@McBurn Too much Botox.
