In Kaku: Ancient Seal you play as the titular brave, Kaku, as he journeys across an uncharted continent full of strange creatures, ancient ruins, and lost tribes. This colourful action game is coming to PS5 and PS4 at some point in 2023, and we got a cinematic reveal trailer showing the title off.
Your journey will take you to many and varied biomes, from the Dragon Bone Desert to the Windy Snow Field. Accompanied by your faithful flying pig, you will learn new abilities and gather an arsenal of weapons and items to aid you on your quest.
What do you think of Kaku: Ancient Seal? Why are so many pigs in media capable of flight? Ponder this and the other great mysteries of life in the comments section below.

Dwarf-like characters hopping around a child-like main character hopping around in jungle hm hmm...where have I seen that? The question is ... Does the "ancient seal" open up the "bridge of spirits"? We're about to find out next year LOL (I can totally see myselft writing these articles for money ^_^)
For a second I thought it was some kind of Tomba! remake.
What was the pitch? "What if we made Kena, but ugly?"
I think some of you need to give a small developer some slack. Not all of them have access to massive funds and help from Sony like Kena.
Looks promising to me but without real gameplay who really knows.
Dunno why, this just makes me want the Tak and The Power of Juju and sequel games to come to PS Plus Premium xD
@naruball I did too! 😅 Btw, I've always wanted to ask you. Is that Lucy Lawless as your avy? HUGE fan of Xena and Hercules back in the day.
@Perryg92 Yeah going from Kaku to Tak was near instantaneous in my brain. Really liked the first game, not sure I played any of the sequels, but 3D life was good back then.
@Rafie Yup. The one and only Xena: Warrior Princess. Always nice to see a fellow Xena fan
I actually thought this was a new Tak game at first glance.
With the trailer being all CG and no actual gameplay its impossible to judge this fairly.
I'm trying to not see kena bridge of spirits which is not a bad thing as i love kena and i am looking forwards to playing the ng+ mode when i have a clear weekend so i think i might give this a go at some point..
I really don't understand the point of these trailers, show us some gameplay.
@rjejr @Coolmusic Exactly what my brain did as well. I never really played the games, but I did see a few random episodes of the cartoon on TV as a kid.
