Raw Fury has announced by way of a Sony tweet that Sable will release for PS5 and PS4 on 29th November 2022. First put out on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC last year, the indie title was handed a Metacritic rating of 76, with a lot of critics praising its beautiful art style. Now PS5, PS4 users can enjoy it for themselves after Rollerdrome launched earlier in the year with a similar graphical motif. While it's not a new trailer, check out the footage above to see Sable in action.
"Prepare to drift across dunes, explore colossal runes, and more in Sable’s rite of passage," the tweet from Sony says. If you love a bit of quirky exploration and general weirdness, the game should be right up your street. That is if you can find the time to play it, of course. You might still be working your way through God of War Ragnarok by the end of November, and then Marvel's Midnight Suns, Need for Speed Unbound, and The Callisto Protocol all hit on the same day at the start of December.
Will you set some time aside to check out Sable before the end of the year? Make a plan in the comments below.

Nice, I’ve liked the look of this one since it released on Xbox… will be giving this a whirl for sure!
Curious to see what PS5 features the dualsense will have for this, don’t know if I read anything about it…
Just gotta be honest, Sable runs very poorly. I’m not usually one to get in on the technical performance issues of a game, but Sable was borderline unplayable on Gamepass. It’s visually very interesting, but that only gets you so far. Hopefully the PS version is actually playable.
I loved this game, even with its dodgy performance, it’s stunning to look at and I really enjoyed the exploration. If performance has been fixed (I have no idea) this is a little gem.
Have this on my Series S, its quite rough but its very peaceful and has that BotW exploration type feel. There's no combat and its more about puzzles and exploring and its not for everyone but if you want something pretty chill and different its a good bet.
I really wanted to like this game but the stuttering during traversal is extremely distracting - and you explore a lot!
This game also has a wonderful original sound track by Japanese Breakfast. It suits the art style well.
I tried to play it on the series S but it had so much technical problems I just couldnt stand it. If its fixed on the ps5 I might give it another chance!
Been waiting on a release date on PS for this
We’re getting some proper artwork etched onto our screens nowadays.
Looks interesting and I must be one of the few people not interested in God of War (played the first, thought it a little dull) so yes, I reckon I've time to investigate 😃
@Stevemalkpus I forgot that this was the game she did the soundtrack for. Looking forward to checking it out. Thanks for reminding me!
Also, your user name makes me want a Pavement Pierogi.
I really enjoyed this game. Would be a 9/10 for me if it didn't run like poopoos on Series X. Luckily the game is good enough that I am willing to close the app every now and then and restart it to fix the performance issues. But yeah so buggy which is a real shame
Imagine if the original Sonic or Mario games ran like dirt, would they be well regarded now?
I think if you make a game, your first duty is to ensure it can run well.
For reviewers, their clients are the readers, not the developers or publishers, with that in mind, all reviews need to cover performance as a matter of priority.
