Crystal Dynamics first started talking about Marvel’s Avengers’ Omega Level Threat mission the Cloning Lab all the way back in 2020, but it’ll finally arrive alongside the Winter Soldier, Bucky Barnes, from tomorrow, 29th November. As part of update 2.7, the end-game challenge will see MODOK resurrected in a massive multiplayer bout.
“MODOK has developed new tactics since players confronted him in San Francisco, and is designed to test our heroes in this new four-against-one fight,” the developer said. “As an OLT, Cloning Lab is designed to push a team of four high-level heroes, though it will be of similar accessible length to our previous OLT, Family Reunion. Cloning Lab requires Power Level 175 to enter will reward both new gear and higher-level gear than ever before, with the power-level cap increasing to 185.”
As mentioned previously, Bucky Barnes is also joining the fray from tomorrow, complete with his own Heroic Mission Chain. This is all free content, so if you already own the game – or downloaded it with PS Plus – then you may as well give it a whirl. What are your thoughts on Marvel’s Avengers these days?

I'm not sure if I'm impressed by the commitment of these guys or not.
I still hate the cpu having un interrupted attacks. But they can punch and shoot me out of line.
I think, just too little too late to save this game. Which is unfortunate as i was a fan of it overall. They needed to really get this out within its first year.

Its such a generic game, which I've not managed to actually feel anything for even though I'm a huge marvel fan.
A.I and level designs are awful ans generic.
I've been so unimpressed with the dlc characters. Mean this is the avengers and what did we get lady thor and she hulk and Kate Bishop.
I mean these came before the actual main cast of avengers characters, considering spiderman isn't even actually part of the avengers tsam really, and the main characters of the avengers haven't even been emplemented Its really been a lackluster game, with 0 vision. Such a shame we may never see a true avengers game.

Did they make it fun?
This mode is going to be so dead because barely anyone is PL175, to get there you need to grind hard as well as do an awful Raid style mission what is buggy as hell, 4 players only and requires real teamwork and voice chat. I've done it twice and its not that fun.
I really enjoyed my time with the avengers but i think its run its course now. Replayed it a lot when the free ps5 upgrade was launched and i still cant really work out why there was so much hate for the game. It was not perfect and quite clearly not what people expected or wanted but i had a good time with it..
This game looks awful. What is the point of a new level cap if there isn’t more endgame content after that?
