Today is the day for the final PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium lineup refreshes of 2022, adding another 22 PS5, PS4, and Classic titles to the two tiers. They're all available to download — or stream — on PS5, PS4 now. As a reminder, here is a complete list of the games included in the final batch for the year. In a recent Push Square Poll, 50 per cent of readers voted to say they're at least somewhat happy with the PS Plus Extra lineup for December 2022, while 19 per cent think it's okay. PS Plus Premium, on the other hand, didn't fare so well. A lot of voters seem to think it's once again a poor selection of Classic titles for the service's most expensive tier.

Ridge Racer 2 is so so good.
16 years old and feels like it was made yesterday.
Ridge racer type 4 and I might be tempted to try Premium
I don't have premium or whatever it is called. Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus is shown as free since I have the PS3/P/Vita version. Ridge Racer 2 is not shown as free though, even though I am pretty sure I have the OG PSP version.
Play Heavenly Sword, we want a remake!!
@Jacko11 Might be difficult as Ninja Theory are now owned by Xbox & Sony owns the IP.
Would actually be a good month if WWE was PS5.
As usual, WWE doesn't work for me, because it used to have a trial.. will probably get fixed down the road, but it's getting ridiculous that they still launch monthly lineup with the same bug.
Before I download it, does anyone know if Pillars 2 still has awful load times, or are they better on the PS5?
@WizzNL I was not aware of that, thank you kind sir!

What you smokin' bro? I want some, it looks aged as all hell. Still a great game to play though.
I was delighted when Ridge Racer 2 was finally confirmed, and utterly crushed to learn it's not available for individual purchase. Let me give you money, Bandai Namco!
@belmont I have the same problem but with Pinball Heroes. Abe's Exoddus is free to download, but Pinball Heroes is £7.99, even though I own the original on PSP and the Complete Edition on PS Vita.
Did Sony add trophies to Heavenly Sword?
Far Cry Primal, yes.
Ridge racers only one for me this month anyone had ago yet?
@WizzNL
What is this bug? Does it relate to the WWE2K22 2 hour trial?
@Fight_Teza_Fight It's never too late. I'm pretty sure Xbox don't own anything. They just purchase things for a while, before they wreck and ditch. I mean, they did the same with Rare. Insomniac and Platinum and look what happened.
Whilst I own all those Far Cry games on Xbox I’ve never given those particular ones a go.
This’ll be a nice way to experience those titles, if I ever get around to it. Nice additions, all, particularly the Middle Earth titles. Those are both wonderful games!
Spoiled for choice this month: Far Cry Primal/5, Judgment, Evil Genius and the Pedestrian. I want to play them all, let alone other stuff already on the service.
Even being semi-retired there just isn't enough time. Oh, and Jack Ryan season 3 drops tomorrow on the torrents. First world probs.
Good lineup overall. Huge fan of Heavenly Sword, one of my favorite character-action games of all time, and Ridge Racer 2 is phenomenal.
@Torque What are you talking about?! Xbox owns Ninja Theory. There's no maybe to it. The entire studio is owned by them. Sony can surely enlist someone like Santa Monica to do a sequel to Heavenly Sword.
Also, don't be that guy. Xbox ain't the only one that has "abandoned" projects. Insomniac was never their's. Only for Sunset Overdrive. Scalebound was both Xbox and Platinum.
Judgment PS5 (got maybe 20% through the PS4 game before it was pulled out from under me and removed from the service). Gigantosaurus The Game (vibrant 3D platformers are my kryptonite). Pinball Heroes (does anybody else remember the golden era of 3D Ultra Pinball?). And maybe Heavenly Sword. Certainly enough to keep me busy through the holidays!
Heavenly Sword was a fun game. I'd consider a replay when I have more time but I don't have Premium either... so...
Nothing in my region yet.
@Quintumply What's probably more ironic is remember when the creator of Tekken was quite vocal in blaming Sony when ps1 Tekken 2 was listed at a ridiculous price point...when the reality its Bandai Namco, joined Campcom in making their games unpurchaseable on ps4/5 platforms!🙄😑
@Intr1n5ic I would like to know this too. I loved POE 1, but the loading times were hectic and I heard POE2 they are just as bad. I have read in forums that the SSD in the PS5 does improve the loading times, avg 16secs or so. Not sure how loading times will change as you progress through the game.
@Wiggo
Pretty much came here to say the same thing. Ridge Racer is just as good as I remember it.
It's starting to show it's age graphically but it plays just as well as ever.
I've never known a game as good for effortlessly drifting around corners
Just started playing Judgment and it might become my favorite Yakuza game.
Heavenly Sword was one of the best games on PS3.
I'm surprised that wasn't already on the service, I thought it was on Now before. Folklore was another from early PS3 that's a lost gem.
@Rafie Until they release something. We shall see.
@Fight_Teza_Fight Sony owns the IP like you said, so they can use bluepoint or any other Studio of their choosing to do a remake... 🤦🏽♂️
RR2 is still as awesome as I remember, more of these please Sony. How about Gradius V?
I would love to see them revisit heavenly sword. Corey is working on a new game he would be prefect for that.
@Rafie sunset over drive is actually insomnacis if they wanted to do a ps5 remaster they could. Also Corey is making a new game that’s not god of war he would be perfect for it
@locoism25 Never going to happen though. Heavenly Sword didn’t sell anywhere well enough or be critically acclaimed enough for Sony to consider to fund a remake. This isn’t Shadow of the Colossus. Your more likely to got a Parappa the rapper remake.
@Fight_Teza_Fight Not the point. If they wanted to, it can be done.
Neat lineup of games, I'll be trying out Ben 10 and Adventure Time soon, plus the Heavenly Sword game.
@Fight_Teza_Fight it could still be possible to remake with a different developer. They did a remake for demon souls with a different developer, did they not?
@Torque They never bought Insomaniac / Platinum, and Rare right now is doing pretty good with SoT, still owned by them.
The only bit studio that they ever spon off es Bungie.
Qnd be Sony has closed the same amoubg of studio as Microsoft.
Ima definitely have a go at Abe's Exodus and Heavenly Sword😁
