SEGA has released a new gameplay trailer for upcoming action RPG Like a Dragon: Ishin!. It spotlights the title's combat system, which is primarily based upon four unique fighting styles: Swordsman, Gunman, Wild Dancer, and Brawler. You can switch between these styles at any time in a fight, with each of them sporting their own strengths and weaknesses.
If there's anything to be pulled from this footage, it's that Ishin!'s combat looks especially bloody. Yakuza battles have always been brutal, but this game's samurai edge has given RGG Studio an excuse to wheel out some seriously over-the-top blood effects — and we're all for it.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! is still set to release for both PS5 and PS4 on the 21st February, 2023. Are you looking forward to this highly rated and remastered Yakuza Like a Dragon spinoff? Keep one hand on your blade in the comments section below.

That definitely looks pretty awesome.
This game just went from "I have got to play this game" to "I am going to die if I don't get this day 1"
Combat looked less impressive to me in what we had seen so far but this....THIS....looks amazing.
I cannot wait!
0:47 Nice Tiger Drop.
'Wild Dancer' looks like a laugh.
Well this looks incredible!
Looks brilliant, def the game I’m looking forward to most next year.
Man they just need to tweak it a little bit and it's like the zatoichi film series. That would be very cool if they had a zatoichi mode....
Game has gone from "maybe" to "ok, I'm interested..."
February is packed. I know. But there is no way I'm not playing this Day 1. Looks awesome!
For some reason all the blood and gore still doesn't make me squirm as bad as when Kiryu knocks a goon, tailbone first, onto a fire hydrant 😱
@tameshiyaku 100%. Or pulling out a goon's tooth with a pair of plyers!
@ShogunRok absolutely! Another favourite of mine is mopping the asphalt with someone's face.
Good to see they still have the tiger drop! So satisfying.
@Korgon
Would likely have got it day one but with PSVR2 arriving at the same time I can wait on this now. Plus I’ll likely still not be fully finished with Hogwarts…
Looks great. I'm looking forward to Ichiban's second outing a lot more though.
Like a dragon ishin look really good.yeah im definitely getting this game.word up son
i remember trying to get into Yakuza Zero and i am not a fan of the bright white screen after every fight i hope this game does not include the bright white screen after every fight in game
Game is definitely on my wishlist, but first I need to play thru the entire series for the first time.
So in February I'll be grabbing Hogwarts Legacy instead.
Played around 70 hours on the japanese version, it even had a very nice companion app on the Vita where you could do various activities including the dungeon fights (on of the best of the series). I'd like to ear more if they revamped the "Another Life" part, it was like secret oasis where you would dedicate to gardening and cooking forgetting all the fights, was a very nice touch)... funny that this game releases twice on the same console (PS4).
