November saw the release of some of 2022's biggest games, with God of War Ragnarok and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 among them. Sony has just revealed the download charts for PS Store last month, and the two juggernauts both vie for the top spot.
Santa Monica Studio's epic sequel takes the biscuit in the PS5 charts, landing at number one in both North America and Europe. Activision's popular FPS settles for second place, but on the PS4 charts, things are flipped; Infinity Ward's shooter takes first place, with God of War at number two. Elsewhere, Sonic Frontiers races into the top 10 of the PS5 charts, though oddly enough is nowhere to be seen on PS4.
PSVR is, as usual, led by stalwarts Beat Saber, Job Simulator, and Superhot VR. Over on the free-to-play charts, Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 predictably dominates, with Overwatch 2 coming in second.
