The Marvel's Midnight Suns Trophy list has revealed a vitally important mechanic that Firaxis Games has been keeping under wraps: you can pet both a dog and a cat back at home base. Viewable in full on Exophase, you'll earn a bronze Trophy for stroking a pup called Charlie 15 days in a row, and then you earn another one for giving a cat called Ebony some fuss on four different days. Now we see why Marvel's Midnight Suns has been so highly rated!
Looking through the complete list of digital gongs, the Platinum Trophy seems fairly achievable with no particular requirements really making our eyes widen. You essentially just need to engage with everything the tactical title has to offer, from completing daily sparring sessions with every superhero to upgrading the Abbey Grounds. We're sure the Trophy completion percentages relating to petting Charlie and Ebony will be two of the highest.
We're yet to receive PS5 review code so we can't tell you ourselves whether Marvel's Midnight Suns is any good or not, but verdicts based on the PC version went out yesterday and the majority of them are quite glowing. "With Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Firaxis has put itself in the league of RPG developers like BioWare, Obsidian, Bethesda, and Larian," said IGN. It's tomorrow on PS5, with a PS4 version also planned to launch later on.

bit worrying, 3 big launches tomo, 0 reviews
@stvevan there are reviews already for marvel midnight sun already
@stvevan Huh Midnight sun was reviewed yesterday...unless you are on about console version exclusively review
@C25CLOUD @StylesT well as id get it on ps it would be useful for review on that system
Is this post title a euphemism?
I am now torn between this game and Callisto. The review embargo for it on the same day as release has me super worried
Wish they added more interesting things outside of action in suns, a,strategy layer to the campaign instead of hours on end of bland small talk.
@AFCC Now that both games have plenty of reviews, which games do you think you're buying?
I'll be passing on both personally, saving my December money for Crisis Core: FF7 Reunion.
@KidBoruto I bought both and surprisingly I'm enjoying Midnight Suns more than Protocol
@AFCC Happy to hear and thanks for replying back! As for myself, I ended up not buying any of them.
Instead I'm going to save my money for January, busy month between Forspoken and Dead Space Remake.
Maybe if they had added new story content to Crisis Core I would have bought it, but turns out just a copy/paste remaster with new combat mechanics and summon animations etc.
@KidBoruto did you end up getting Forspoken?
@AFCC I ended up not buying it. Forspoken is not the game I was promised when it was first revealed.
I'll buy it in a future sale for $25 New or cheaper. Either that or if it ever hits PS+. I have PS+ Premium until April 2027, so I could just wait for that.
