Infamous outer-space engineer Isaac Clarke is no stranger to crossover games – he was, after all, a DLC addition to Sony’s forgotten mascot fighter, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Somehow, this cameo feels a trifle more significant, however: the character is coming to Fortnite, as part of the Strange Transmissions Quest Pack, due out, well, right now.
This is one of those bundles that Fortnite fans will be familiar with from the Battle Royale’s in-game Item Store, and thus retails for $11.99. However, in addition to the core Isaac Clarke skin, RIG Back Bling – with functional HP monitoring system, of course – and Plasma Cutter Pickaxe, you’ll also unlock some unique quests, with the rewards totting up to 1,500 V-Bucks. You’ll also get a USG Ishimura Back Bling, for good measure.
As always with Epic Games’ juggernaut release, the skin looks absolutely superb, and will surely appear frequently on the Battle Bus this week. To be fair, there’s no better way to prepare for EA’s imminent PS5 remake, is there?

Who needs Dead Space remake when we have Dead Space in Fortnite?
Sigh. Who needs a decent Halo game when we have Master Chief in Fortnite...
I still can’t believe they didn’t have an Avatar 2 collab. Biggest movie in the last five years and nada.
Even Dune got a collab and that was one of the dullest movies I’ve ever seen.
This actually surprised me, not gonna lie.
Fortnite do this kind of cross promo stuff all the time - I admire Epic for constantly updating and changing the game but Fortnite isn’t for me.
However I’m watching the mailbox for my PS5 Dead Space!!! So pumped.
No outrage at this being a paid pack rather than something you can buy with V-Bucks?
Strange cause its the first time they’ve done this with a special collab and it forces a real world money spend.
@Jacko11 it’s because it’s a quest pack which gives you all of the Isaac stuff as well as quests that can give you 1500 v bucks
@lankieBD I know right? Thanks!
@HotGoomba It can be both things!
honestly, who gives a f
@djape I was playing DOOM on my PC recently and my 12 year old son walked in. He knows Doom guy as "Doom Slayer, from fortnite"
I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment, personally I'd pick pretty much any single player game over Fortnite, but the answer to "who gives a f", is frankly "a whooooole lot of 12 year olds"
@danlk1ng thanks for that explanation, but still, why does that matter? Is that wrong or I don't understand?
@djape no, I'm just getting old. And I don't like it!
Only reason I tagged you is the answer to your question is "millions of pre-teens with poor taste in games" (I mean, that's debatable but it's my opinion and I'm sticking to it..)
