One Piece Odyssey is just days away from its release on PS5 and PS4, and so Bandai Namco's dropped a hype-inducing launch trailer. Despite clocking in at just over a couple of minutes, it's a really good showcase of the RPG's style, and features loads of character cameos that'll have fans excited.
We've already played the game, by the way, and it's an adventure that should be on your radar. Be sure to give our full One Piece Odyssey PS5 review a read if you're interested. Even if you're not familiar with One Piece, we'd still recommend this adaptation.

Shame it just feels like a mix between ys viii and dragon quest xi. Without any of the charm and fun. It's less one piece than you cam imagine. Luffy takes the long way around in the demo. There's a terrible losing your strength and the observation haki is a joke. Honestly a horrible game.

I really want this game to succeed not just because I love one piece but also to prove Yoshi P wrong about his recent comments. He said that younger audiences don't like turn-based games anymore so final fantasy should instead change its identity to cater to them. Anw I liked what I played with the demo and can't wait.
From the sound of previews this game could turn out to become one of the better OP games, despite a few bumps on the road, I'm glad about that. Also sounds like an big improvment over the last OP game, World Seeker, which, while not that bad imo, was pretty lackluster.
@Arisen hes right turn based sucks. its slow and doesnt make sense. who would actually sit there and let someone hit them and be like alright its my turn to smack you lol. full speed action stylish combat dmc/ the new ff is the way to go

@Arisen i said turn based sucks. i never said jrpgs suck. rpgs are my fav genre. both western and jrpgs. i love stuff like tales of arise, scarlet nexus, and more. very few turn based stuff i like, i like final fantasy and dragon quest off the top of my head. and some xcom. but those are for the artwork very stylish games and story. xcom i love aliens and stuff and keeping my ppl alive. but again learn to read i didnt say jrpgs.
