if you still haven't checked out your PlayStation wrap-up for 2022, you'd better get a move on. The annual stats-blast is only available until the 13th January, so you've got roughly two days to see it over on PlayStation's official website.
If you're sitting there asking "what the heck's a PlayStation wrap-up?", allow us to offer a brief explanation. At the end of every year, PlayStation users can opt in to an interactive recap of their gaming habits. The wrap-up tells you which games you played the most, how many Trophies you earned, and more. All you need to do is sign in to the page linked above.
Typically, the wrap-up website gets absolutely bombarded when it first goes live, so some of you may have had issues accessing it before now. Hopefully it works today!

Wooo I love these. Overall I played much less than last year, which isn't surprising given how busy 2022 was. Death Stranding was my most played, up from 2nd place last year. Surprised I put so much time into Vice City, but I was going for that platinum so it must have clocked up. Deathloop and Ratchet were great fun, and BF1 is my go to online game for playing with mates (though I rarely play multiplayer).
Top Games:
1) Death Stranding Director's Cut (96 Hours)
2) GTA Vice City Definitive Edition (93 Hours)
3) Deathloop (71 Hours)
4) Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (40 Hours)
5) Battlefield 1 (29 Hours)
Top 5 for me:
1. Sims 4. (Thanks to my daughter playing on my ps4)
2. Star Wars Battlefront 2
3. Elden Ring
4. Pathfinder Wraith of the Righteous
5. Slay the Spire
The most surprising for me was Slay the Spire. I didn't realize how much I liked deck building games. It gives me hope for Midnight Sun's when it goes on a 35%to 50% sale.
@AK4tywill I have to get back to finishing Death stranding. Only about 20 hours in then jumped to something else for awhile. Loved the sound track. Sad to hear of Low Roars lead vocalist passing.
GTA with my doodes Laszlo and Fernando Martinez on the rodeo lol cracks me up
I played a lot less than the previous year too, I think the previous year was about 2100 hours, but this year was a lot more chaotic. I also spent a lot more of this year playing mediocre games like AC Valhalla because things were too chaotic to enjoy good games but I still needed a distraction (which is why I still haven't played the new Dad of Boy game)

Cheap gits aren't even giving away a free theme this year - probably 'cos the fatty can't do themes!
I find it funny that this wrap up thing estimates playing time correctly but on my PS I can see games with 1 or 3 hours played instead of 20+ hours.
My top 5 by time played:
Horizon Forbidden West
God of War Ragnarok
Metro Exodus
Spider-Man
Deathloop
The hour counts seemed WAY off compared to in-game hour counts. Wondering how they counted pausing or having the game on resume.. For example it said I played Horizon for 84 hours but my in game time was something like 55 as I recall. There is no way I put 84 hours into that game. GoWR was also off by about 20 hours.. Weird. It said Deathloop was 28 hours for me and I believe that is accurate or very close if I'm remembering correctly. Strange.
@everynowandben same type of thing on the opposite spectrum happens to my game profile. God of War Ragnarok in-game I think said 87 but my profile has it at 55. HFW same issue, along with pretty much every game I play. Makes no sense
My Top 5 with hours played is
1. Mass Effect Legendary Edition (79 Hrs)
2. Saint's Row (Don't Judge me) (54 Hrs)
3. Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY (45 Hrs)
4. Bully Canis Canem Edit (Finally Got that Platinum BABY!) (44 Hrs)
5. Watch Dogs Legion (30 Hrs)
And my total game time is 921 hrs up by 19% from last year.
@Elodin If you were still trying to buy Midnight Suns its on sale right now for 33% off
It says I played 0 hours on PSVR but I played VR games most Sundays this year.
