Some PlayStation employees were sent a limited edition DualSense controller to celebrate their hard work in 2022, as pointed out by Insomniac Games community manager Aaron Jason Espinoza. It's your standard white PS5 pad, but it's decorated with the classic PlayStation face button shapes. It features a 'Play Has No Limits 2022' slogan on the back.
It's a rather minimal design, but we think it looks cool. It also reminds us of cake icing with sprinkles on top, but maybe that's just us hungering for cake — hard to say.
Anyway, we have to ask: would you be tempted to grab this DualSense if it actually went on sale? Stop thinking about cake in the comments section below.

@PlayStationGamer3919 really not quite sure what you were expecting..
Reminds me of Pop tarts. I love it.
See you on ebay
It's not for my personal taste, however as a gesture, I think it's spot on.
It's a good collectable and I would be tempted.
I like the way the PS5 has tiny logos on the face plates that are barely visible to the naked eye which I suspect will be removed on newer versions just like the gloss face plate on the PS4 was removed for all matt in later models.
I like these little details but that's just me!
give it a week the springs will have snapped and theyll have stick drift
These will likely be quite valuable due to the presumably very low prodiction run
Looks like it's got the moves to Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock mapped on it....
I do miss the colored shapes on the buttons.
If they really cared about their employees they would have included a cable in the box smh
From a distance it looks like the dualsense has chicken pox - which as all parents know is very common for 3 year olds. Dualsense following suit given its also 3 years old 👍
Looks like it had a disease to me. Cool gesture nonetheless
@PlayStationGamer3919 Honestly they could've at least made it look like a ps1 controller
@BeerIsAwesome haha. That made me laugh.
So cute! Really nice gesture.
Good chance I'd probably stick my weewee in a light socket for one
@PlayStationGamer3919 Negative Nancy..
Removed - trolling/baiting
Always going to be subjective, first row comments prove that, but personally I appreciate simple minimalist design like this over garish ones that look like your controller tried to dress up as a teenage superhero.
How a few people always can talk down a nice gesture its not hard to see who it are all the time.
I love the clean look and. I believe it should not be sold makes it a lot more meaningful as a present to the workers.
At least they got something, I guess?
@ChrisDeku For sure, they will be very expensive and sought after in the future.
I want 1! Please give me or sell me one.
Wow... not even an Edge... cool looks but if they really wanted to give thanks why not give them something more than the basic model?
The usual corporate BS... "throw them the cheapest bone... we spend small and they'll be happy we thought of it"
Neat design, but I wouldn't get one even if it were available for purchase.
Hopefully they don't use it. Would suck to lose a rare controller o drift or whatever. Regardless if you like the design or not, rare controllers should be taken care of.
If it was available in store, no, but if there's only 50 made and it went on ebay, my god yes
