Update: Yes, Capcom’s bonkers third-person Exoprimal will launch 14th July on PS5 and PS4, with an open beta slated to run from 17th March to 19th March. The game will cost $59.99 for its bog-standard version, with a Digital Deluxe available for $69.99.
The latter version comes with a wealth of additional in-game content, including – take a deep breath – a Head Start Kit, a Vigilant Early Unlock Ticket, a Murasame Early Unlock Ticket, a Nimbus Early Unlock Ticket, a Paladin exosuit skin for Vigilant, a White Guardian exosuit skin for Murasame, and a Wonderland exosuit skin for Nimbus. You’ll also immediately get access to the Premium Tier of the title’s first Survival Pass, which is effectively a Battle Pass.
Pre-orders will also come with some additional skins, and you can catch more courtesy of the trailer embedded above.
Original Article: Capcom’s utterly insane multiplayer dinosaur shooter Exoprimal will allegedly stomp to PS5 and PS4 on 14th July, with a release date scheduled to be announced during today’s Capcom Spotlight showcase. The broadcast – scheduled to get underway from about 2PM PT/10PM GMT – will also include new information on upcoming remake, Resident Evil 4.
While it’s not directly linked to Dino Crisis, producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi is leading the project, which will see you forming uncomfortable allegiances with competing squads as you work together to take out giant prehistoric creatures in PvPvE battles. We’ll of course bring you the Capcom Spotlight live later today, and will update when we get concrete confirmation of Exoprimal’s release date.

But will there be an Adam Driver cameo?
If you don't know of him, he's kinda like a dime store Keanu Reeves, soon to feature in the upcoming Dino movie 65.
This one hurt showing us Dino's and making us think we get a new Dino Crisis instead we get this let's hope it's not Umbrella Core 2.
Capcom have been on a roll of late (with the exception of RE3, I still don't understand why you'd cut out half of a 6 hour game remake!) I'm hoping this is going to be fun, Also hoping RE4R is going to be more than 3 hours long.
You had me until PvPvE 😔
Not sure what to think of this other than it looks like Anthem crossed with Dino Crisis. This is the kind of title that could easily end up being either utter one-trick-pony trash or absolutely bonkers fun. I will be interested to see how it turns out......
I wish they were making a better dinosaur game. I love anything to do with Dinosaurs but this just seems daft to me.
I only want to see Dino Crisis. Until then capcom we don't need to talk. (Unless its Resident Evil)
I have absolutely no idea what to think about this game and that’s such a wonderful feeling
@DETfaninATL Only difference here is the team at Capcom KNEW what they were making before a trailer was created.
When this game eventually fizzles out, Capcom will be confused and say, "well looks like nobody cares about dinosaurs, so we might as well shelve that Dino Crisis remake"
Looks a lot like the EDF games - but with dinos instead of insects.
@mus422 good thing it’s a ton of single player games released all the time non-stop , right?
Also on GamePass for those of you with both consoles.
If this was a single player game I’d eat this game right up!
100% interested in Exoprimal. Unlike Kill the justice league, this looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun!
This looks like Anthem with dinos. No thanks
Let's see if the gamepass guys can carry this game like they carried Outriders ... LOL
Live service and gamepas l’ll pass
I was interested in this until they showed the typical live service nonsense. Another Battle Pass game? No thanks!
'Here's a spiritual successor to Dino Crisis!'
'....and here's it's Battle Pass!'
I'm gonna give them the benefit of the doubt right now since Capcom's actually pretty decent with live-service games as of late (Monster Hunter comes to mind for me) but after Suicide Squad's mess? Yeahhhh, people are definitely gonna be wary about this one.
Will be a pass from me thanks!
I'd like to try this game out, but definitely not buying it at full MSRP. I am not excited about a battle pass scheme, but I'll admit the game looks like it could be the right mix of shenanigans. The whole Virtual-On vs. Dinosaurs vibe is kind of working for me with a sprinkling of Binary Domain.
As another Game Pass Day one game, will be interesting to see the impact of being in Game Pass will have on PS5 version adoption. My prediction is it wont have any impact, and most people will play where they prefer to play it.
Imagine a Dino Crisis remake with this level of visual fidelity.
This seems like a rare misstep for modern Capcom.
The suits look awesome!
The game looks like it's fun enough but I will probably wait for a sale or the inevitable PS Plus drop
I don't know how I feel about this game. It looks like another cheap generic live service game that's doomed to fail, and nothing I hate more than full price games asking for more money via battle passes. Suicide squad got flak and so should this.
At this point, "coming to Gamepass" feels like shorthand for, "this game won't make its money back"
@Enuo yeah, when an online/live service game says coming to gamepass it's makes you think they aren't confident it will sell well for a reason.
Hard pass on this live service crap. Hope this one goes the same way Suicide Squad did.
This looks awful to me, makes me concerned Capcom is living off remaking the old greats and can’t create a new IP that matters. Thinking this one is close to or actually DOA. I won’t even be trying it on GP and that’s half the reason I subscribe, is to try new stuff and see if i like it to buy it.
Pass. The graphics look great, but the game play does not.
What a waste. We got cheated out of a new Dino crisis again...
@ChronoBreak777 We still need a remake of Code Veronica at the very least after RE4. I'd also argue a newer remake of RE1 using the RE Engine or Unreal Engine 5.
(and for the hell of it throw in a legit remake of RE0 too)
The second I learned the game is PvP and online only was the second I went 😑... while slowly shaking my head at Capcom.
