While it was slightly disappointing to see it delayed, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is looking very promising indeed with this latest trailer. Focusing on the characters and story, this new video shows off plenty of flashy gameplay along with in-game cutscenes, and it all looks pretty impressive.
The sequel has us back in the boots of Cal Kestis five years after Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. He is looking for a safe haven away from the reach of the Empire, and in that quest, reunites with some familiar faces, such as Cere and Greez.
We get to see a bunch of interesting new settings, traversal, puzzles, and lightsaber combat in the mix here. It's a nicely rounded trailer that has us hyped to check it out on 28th April. Looks fabulous. Look forward to playing this. Just waiting for reviews. Hopefully not a buggy launch like the first game.
Loved the first game, for all its minor flaws. I imagine this will be a very strong sequel. Looking forward to playing it sometime this year.
Enjoyed the first one but could have done without the puzzles. Sounded like the devs were doubling down on that part, which is disappointing. But looking forward forward to it nonetheless.
Ah, the 'Space Uncharted' trailer starting exactly as expected. Cal hanging out of a windscreen over a giant drop 😁
Hypesabers at the ready 🙌
I still find it amazing they didn't tag an extra 6 days onto the delay...
Let's go High Republic villain
Recently bought Fallen Order for $4 on PS store. Been enjoying it for the most part, but on Jedi Master difficulty, too often I have been ambushed by multiple enemies (melee and ranged) in tight quarters, which has led to frustration. This seems like lazy game design, although overall I am impressed by the graphics, controls, and voice acting. Will probably play Survivor at some point, but not on release. Maybe on sale next Black Friday.
The SW VR game has ruined me.... I'm still looking forward to this but..... No SW game will ever hit that high of really being there again 😢
@EchoRange @RogerRoger Day 1 purchase without a doubt for me, and I am so hyped that we're finally seeing High Republic era content in video games.
