Publisher NIS America has released a new trailer for upcoming action RPG The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails, which is set to release for PS4 this autumn / fall here in the West. For those who don't know, Nayuta was originally a 2012 PSP title. It's also something of a Trails series spinoff (with Ys-esque gameplay), although you don't need to have any prior knowledge of Falcom's massive role-playing franchise to jump into this standalone story.
Anyway, if you're curious as to how Nayuta plays, this new video should give you some idea. Once Trails into Reverie is released this July, Nayuta will be next on NIS America's marketing schedule, so we doubt it'll be long until we get a confirmed release date.

I don’t quite understand why these new Falcom releases aren’t PS5 native. We’re in the third year of the new generation, after all.
@The_Pixel_King Those are old titles that are now getting localized while their newer ones were developed when nobody could buy a PS5 since there was almost no supply in Japan. The studio making the game is relatively small.
As far as the games it is the only Kiseki game I have not played or know anything about and look forward to it. There is a brief spoiler in the trailer for players familiar with Cold Steel or it is just me being paranoid?
@The_Pixel_King Falcom usually lags behind, but its getting there. Zero/Azure/Nayuta are older games now getting releases in English not that intensive so it may just make more sense to make it for just PS4 and run it in back compat. Starting with Reverie, all ports after that will have a native PS5 port. I have the PS5 version of Ys 8 and it runs fantastic so I know it will be worth the wait!
Wow 3 Trails games in 1 year (essentially 4 in a 12 month time frame). Keep it up NIS on porting these over
How have I only just heard of this?!
I thought these websites were british? Whats with calling autumn, fall!?
Looks very like YS origins. That is a excellent game. I will definitely play this.
@belmont This game came out considerably before cold steel so anything in it would not be considered a spoiler.
Not that important as this game is a spin off about God's of adios and set in a different universe so won't affect the story as far as I'm aware
I'll be skipping the mainline titles for the moment, but I'm actually looking forward to this.
At least we finally have a seasonal release window. I can see the solid date being revealed during Summer Games Fest.
