Star Wars Jedi Survivor File Size

We're not saying that you need to go and delete half of the games on your PS5 just yet, but Star Wars Jedi: Survivor might be really, really big in terms of file size. EA and Respawn have just released the upcoming action game's PC requirements, and according to the fact sheet, the title requires a whopping 155GB of storage space.

Now, thankfully, this doesn't necessarily mean that Survivor will be the same size on console — but it does suggest that it ain't gonna be small. Generally speaking, AAA PS5 games — especially those that are heavy on cinematics and high quality assets — tend to weigh in somewhere between 40 and 80GB. Titles that go beyond that threshold, veering into the realm of 100GB or so, are a rarity.

What's more, the PS5's touted 'Kraken' compression technology is supposed to keep file sizes in check. We have seen PS5 versions of various games take up noticeably less storage space in the past, compared to other consoles.

With Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releasing in just a few weeks, on the 28th April, we'll probably get confirmation of console file size in the relatively near future. But until then, let us know if you'd be able to squeeze a 150GB game onto your PS5 in the comments section below.
