An official Assassin’s Creed Mirage haptic feedback suit from manufacturer OWO promises to bring you closer than ever before to historical Baghdad – quite literally. Compatible with PS5 and PS4 – among other consoles and PC – the wearable suit will allow you to experience every bump and bobble as you physically embody protagonist Basim.
“Using the OWO System, you will be able to feel your precise movements when you take down your targets,” the official press release teases. “But beware! They are out to get you. Don't let your enemies get too close or you will feel the consequences.” Apparently you’ll be able to experience “impacts and parkour”, while the suit is capable of replicating a wide-array of sensations, including “severe abdominal wounds”.
This officially licensed version of the suit promises “some exclusive sensations never felt before” in the firm’s previous haptic feedback suits; we’re going to assume the feeling of jumping into a hay stack has to be replicated here. And if you do purchase the suit, which is likely to cost around $500, you’ll get a free digital copy of the game for the PS5 included.

I’m honestly shocked this is for a flat game and not a PSVR2 game. It sounds interesting, but not $500 interesting.
Mirage also isn’t looking good enough to justify even if it was potentially worth $500.
Ok that’s actually pretty cool.
What an unexpected collection of words and images.
If it was for a better game I may be interested. AC has run it's course now and I have zero interest in running around Baghdad.
@Jaz007 probably will be available when the Quest exclusive AC game comes out
How can this be tied to AC Mirage, a pancake game?? Stuff like this screams VR, but at that pricerange i'm anything but tempted.
Yes I always wanted to actually feel what it's like to dive a hundred feet into a bale of hay.
One size fits all? looks down a belly 😢
I genuinely love that they're going with "the OWO system" lmao
Sounds like something you'd use in VRChat
I play games to escape 'reality'. That very much includes all the 'risks' and potentially fatal injuries that real life has. I don't want to 'feel' where I am being Shot or simulate the impacts of falling down a cliff.
Each to their own of course but I can't see myself buying this.
If I was rich I would 100% buy this.
Sadly, I'm a broke son of a penguin 😕
Not sure what the point of this is, but OK
Does this plug into the console? Or the controller? How exactly does it match what's happening in the game?
I would actually love to get this, however, it is unlikely to come in my more er,... portly size... 🤣
🤔 At that price you can buy a brand new ps5 plus the assassin creed mirage game.word up son
checks date
Not April fools, so is this real? Oh, that price tag - yep it's real!
If I was rich I would absolutely pick this up!...but I'm not rich so no can do. Mirage looks awesome regardless though!
Removed - flaming/arguing
Weird support for a haptic suit without VR ...
I assume it would somehow work for other games, and not exclusively AC? An interesting idea, but... not sure there's a wide market for it!
I too was a rich prince once. Will it work this gut off?
@J2theEzzo I was thinking the same, if you an wear this for Jedi Survivor, FFXVI, God of war and any involving action and fights, it'll worth the price
Nah, if this is for anyone it's for the helmet-wearing tools. not the rest of us.
Experience 'severe abdominal wounds'?? Would that be fun? The device covers more than the abdomen. Can it do massive chest wound from a sniper or zombie chewing on a shoulder simulation?
@Trousersnake The suit is mainly for VR support. But the VR market isn’t big enough for this type of to be successful, so they have also support flat games
The one thing that's missing from my games; feeling like I'm at death's door while I'm playing them. Ubisoft, once again nailing the superfluous instead of developing high quality IPs. Never change.
I wonder what happens when you miss the jump into hay xD
Where's the haptic undies, though?
@WolfyTn I genuinely laughed out loud 😂
This is the most interesting thing I will soon completely forget I read today.
Cheers.
I might be in if it works with Rez
How ironic they don't give you a physical copy of the game
Well that’s quite frivolous.
That looks about as good an idea as the Tony hawk's skateboard controller.
Good luck to them if they can get a few people to buy one. Fomo and all that...
So they do an extra large gut version, which would likely be the average gamer fit...
And I thought the Soldier helmet in Doom's collector edition was the top. Oh well...who knows, maybe we'll get a set of winter tyres with Gran Turismo 8 Collector's edition ?
