F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch studio TiGames has announced during Sony's latest ChinaHero Project showcase that its next title is a story-driven action RPG named The Winds Rising, releasing on PS5. The reveal trailer embedded above gives very little away, but it's said to sport a "grand adventure" all about a female main character who "encounters a lost monster cub" that can affect "the rise and fall of the entire kingdom". Check it out above.
A description comes from Gematsu: "The Winds Rising is a story-driven action RPG developed by TiGames. It follows the journey of a girl from a peaceful village who embarks on a grand adventure after she encounters a lost monster cub, which affects the rise and fall of the entire kingdom. Her fate is in the player’s hands. Players can look forward to a refreshing and smooth combat experience, immersive and captivating story, and a world of ever-changing adventure."
The Winds Rising will form part of the China Hero Project's third phase of releases alongside other newly-announced games like The God Slayer and Dhaba: Land of Watermarks. F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch, is one of the most recognisable — and also one of the best — China Hero Project titles released so far, so TiGames has built up a small pedigree now.
Complimenting its challenging combat, pretty locations, and smart level design, we awarded the game an 8/10 in our F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch PS5 review. We called it "a stellar Metroidvania adventure set in a beautifully realised world, replete with challenging combat encounters, rewarding exploration, and some spicy platforming action. Rayton Rabbit might be of diminutive stature, but he's punching well above his weight here in what is one of the best games of 2021 so far."

I discovered F.I.S.T. for myself just a couple of months ago and it was good, had fun. Will keep an eye on this one.
F.I.S.T. was very good. This sounds very different but I'm definitely interested.
It was a decent MV, but the coolest part about F.I.S.T. was the aesthetics (and how the company coded themselves for a different anagram). So hopefully this game is visually pleasing with a unique world.
F.I.ST. was brilliant so I'll be keeping an eye on this
FIST was an excellent title, so I'm really interested in this and will definitely keep it 'on my radar'.
edit: just realised I said the same as the above comment. I should have just liked that one
They certainly have my attention! F.I.S.T was great and looked fantastic.
FIST had some great art and the game flowed nicely. The story was slightly forgettable though. All in all a great game however.
Boy that trailer is about as worthless as it gets, lol.
Not much to go on there but definitely interested. Really hope China finds it stride this decade with game development, they could be a powerhouse.
