All the classics are coming back today! Not only is WayForward porting Clock Tower to PS5 and PS4, but the same is happening for PS1 platforming series GEX. Dubbed the Gex Trilogy, it brings GEX, Gex: Enter the Gecko, and Gex 3: Deep Cove Gecko to PS5 and PS4. Check out the reveal trailer above, which features some James Bond and Metal Gear Solid references.
The official PR reads: "Tail time is imminent. Through the science of the Carbon Engine, Gex fans will be able to revisit Gex, Gex: Enter the Gecko, and Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko on modern systems for the first time!" It's not known whether this collection of ports will sport the same sort of upgrades as the newly announced and enhanced Clock Tower yet.
Will you return to the Gex games? High tail it to the comments below.

This is like the time I played Mini Golf at Rodney Dangerfield's house.
Can't wait for the Dunkey videos on this.
I doubt Leslie Phillips is returning to voice GEX
Someone in Toledo Ohio is screaming right now…
Whispers
It's tail time
Hopefully Danny John-Jules will be a voice option. He was great on Gex 3 European version
Well I'll be damned: the madlads actually did it.
Memes aside, I'm unironically pretty excited for this as someone who never got to experience the original Gex games. I'm fully aware that they were intentionally made to age as poorly as possible in terms of the dialogue and such, but I enjoy myself a good bit of cheesiness in my games (I wouldn't be as big of a Capcom fanboy if I didn't XD) so I'll definitely be giving this a look!
Funny that I still have my PS1 copies lol
Oh heck yes, I’m loving these classic trilogy collections. Keep em coming!
The fact I wanted to play Gex so badly after seeing this funny “fake Saturday morning cartoon” version of him.

I played the first one a lot, very happy with this!
DONT take career advice from Joe Piscopo.
Haha crumbs. I remember picking up enter the gecko on a whim back in the day. Never thought we'd see his return
Hoping for a field of view extender for 2 and 3, and actual playtesting for 1.
Lol, oh really. I used to like Gex 3D a lot. To the extent I had a gecko when I was a kid called Gex. It’s not a very good game though, really!
Ah, Gex, a game that isn’t quite in the top 10 of its genre of its era, but is remembered fondly for the cheese
Yay, Gex! Was fun. Can't wait!
It's tail time!
I wonder if we'll get options to use the European voice overs
Didn't even know Clocktower was coming to modern platforms either huh.
I saw this tweet somewhere else and went oh that's cool to see. Oh yeah the US/UK voices hmm if a toggle would be nice. I like the differences between regions and only getting the US versions on the PS store sometimes wasn't already great. Especially if you had additional music/bugs or fixes in the PAL versions. Like Spyro 1's additional music was great (High Caves PAL music is great) but the music cut out or disk scratches I forget why.
So which version or an option for Gex voices will be interesting. Is there a language selection to determine it even.
Limited Run physical is unfortunate but oh well at least available then the PS3/Vita stores (I was considering buying eventually but glad I hadn't bought any of the 3 games yet) the past few years or the used market and on to more platforms.
Also Nintendo fans getting the PS1 versions on Switch then the N64 alright ports but finally getting those cutscenes naturally then via footage/emulation/if they got the PS1 version later I guess.
With Crystal Dynamics on the Legacy of Kain remake/sequel/remaster, no idea since that survey I forget what the news reports were later. Among many other projects of Tomb Raider, Perfect Dark, whatever state of Avengers (and of course many studios capable of old games handle them) I was wondered who is handling these games? I think I saw some logos but wasn't sure.
A lot of cool old games coming though is nice to see even if ports/remasters it's something.
Still waiting on Glover on modern consoles then the mixed responses PC port on Steam.
GTFO of here!!! Jumping on here and seeing all these classics coming back made my day!!
Xbox doesn't deserve to get this legendary game
@Pyromancer Why not? Games should be for everyone, and the more people who get to play Gex, the better!
I played Gex 3 fairly recently, oh boy is it rough. I'd temper my excitement, and bring a vomit bag just in case!
This place is bigger than oliver reeds bar tab
It better still have his voice
@JONOFTHEJONS So specific, why Toledo? xD
I’m surprised to see the Square Enix logo at the end of the trailer! Would have thought Gex would have gone to Embracer along with Crystal Dynamics.
@PlayStationGamer3919 Xbox players miss out though
@VeldinX I’m not Crystal Dynamics the company who made originals have been a part of Square Enix since they acquired the company in 2009. Makes sense to see the Square Enix logo if they are involved in the development
@Dragoon1994 No, Crystal Dynamics were sold to Embracer last year so aren’t part of Square Enix anymore. Which is exactly why I said I’m surprised to see the SE logo.
@VeldinX Ah I see I thought that they were still a part of Square Enix. Might be more to do with Square renewing the license a few years ago
