Games can be incredibly profound, thoughtful, and mature experiences, but they can also be unbelievably silly. If you're in the mood for the latter, Pizza Possum might be what you're after. Developed by Cosy Computer, this is a madcap arcade game all about snaffling as much food as you can without getting caught.

Announced earlier this year, the game now has a release date, and a new trailer to go with it. Pizza Possum launches on 28th September, 2023, and it looks like it could offer up a dose of dumb fun. Playing alone or in local co-op with a buddy, you explore an island that opens up as you progress, hunting down food and avoiding enemies. You unlock new items as you go, helping you hide from guards and prevent them from catching you in your quest for snacks.
