15 More PS5, PS4 Games Are Available Now on PS Plus Extra, Premium

Too many games

Just as a bunch of games are exiting the subscription service, Sony's previously announced October additions for PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium are now available for members. We have 15 more games in the extensive game catalogue, including a handful of retro titles.

As a reminder, here's the list of games joining the service today:

Lots of variety here, with most of them being very good additions. There are plenty of horror games here in time for Halloween, and we can certainly recommend the likes of Disco Elysium: The Final Cut and Röki too.

In terms of retro games, we have two PSP fighting titles, and two more from Sony itself; Ape Escape Academy and IQ Final, or Kurushi Final, have the added benefit of Trophy support, too.

Pretty generic month imo, Gotham Knights i've already played and beat and its like a 6/10 game at best, Alien Isolation/Dead Island/Outlast arent exciting when they're such ancient games that you can buy on every PSN sale for like 3$ and Disco Elysium I never really cared for.

I'm more excited to play scuffed PSP versions of Tekken 6/Soul Calibur 4 in 4k than anything else on here lol

The semi random nature of whether you can buy PS1/PSP games continues. This time in typical Namco nature you cannot while you can for Sony games.

Great selection there. Most of the games should be played.

Eldest Souls sounds like a cheap bootleg targeting people who don't know much about FromSoft games.

I bought Tekken 6 (PSP) as a download back on my old VITA, and now I can't download it to my PS5 without subbing to Premium? 😞 What's up with that?

Dead island definitive collection is incorrect. Dead island definitive edition is on ps plus classics, but only the one game. The definitive collection containing dead island definitive edition and dead island riptide definitive edition is not available via ps plus.

And again ZIP for the PS2 and barely a smidgen of classics as per. Honestly such a typically pathetic effort. By this point there should be a healthy selection of PS2 and PS1 titles. They're barely even being drip fed now. As someone that loves classic games, this was a huge reason I subbed. Why are Sony being so stingy with years old games ?
