Update: Diablo 4's second seasonal affair, the Season of Blood, is now live across all platforms, including PS5 and PS4. The whole thing was slapped with a several-hour delay at the last minute, but we got there in the end.
Just in case you don't know, the new season features fresh vampiric challenges and abilities. Hopefully it's all smooth sailing from here!
Original Story: Honestly, it feels like Blizzard is becoming the embodiment of that scene in The Simpsons where Homer falls into Springfield Gorge and hits every possible cliff and rock on the way down. The developer just can't seem to catch a break, and its latest cock-up involves Diablo 4's fairly anticipated Season of Blood.
The game's second shot at seasonal content was meant to go live today, but it's been delayed at pretty much the last minute. "We've encountered some complications and will be delaying Season of Blood’s start time a few hours to remedy these issues," the team writes on its social media channels. "We'll share updates as soon as we have them. We appreciate your patience."
To make matters worse, there are reports on PS5 of error messages that are preventing players from even logging into the game. We're going to assume this is a related issue, but it really does seem as though nothing can go smoothly when it comes to Diablo 4.
Were you looking forward to starting out in Season of Blood? Let out a sigh and boot up a different game in the comments section below.

So far I have had error code 315306, error code 397006, error code 34202, error code 300010
Modern day Blizzard just keeps getting better, lol
It’s only a few hours… give them a break
They messed up with the version, you can check in your PS update that you got the 1.0.2 version instead of the 1.2.0
That aside whatever happened with the delay ofc
They had to patch up the brain of the dude who did the math for the previous trailer.
@kyleforrester87 How about I give you a break eh, Kyle? A break from this site. Permanently.
Updated the article just for you and everything.
@ShogunRok I pay your bloody wages mate.
Well to be fair, after Blizzard's initial trailer for season 2, we could see that math is not their strong suit.
@ShogunRok really? This is how pushsquare responds now?
@kyleforrester87 i guess thats your thanks for being a pushsquare supporter 🤣
@Northern_munkey Haha it's just a laugh. We all know @kyleforrester87 subscribes purely for this kind of banter.
@ShogunRok ❤️
@ShogunRok oops my bad guys 👍. Its easy to jump to the wrong conclusion when context is hard to fathom.
@Northern_munkey that’s all part of the ruse!
@kyleforrester87 it has been a long day and i've had to deal with more than a couple of low iq equiped bottom feeders today. I need sleep 👍
Diablo IV, the only game purchase I made this year, that I regret.
Any positives to take from this Season? I am trying to work out if three mates and I could play this online on Sundays.
I am at just Level 23 and season 2 feels solid. Nothing yet experienced fully, because "good stuff" grinding starts slowly after 50, but in general everything works. Wibe is still there, lets see how it will go after level 70+
Hit level 20 and it’s running good for me. I do like the feel of combat a touch Better and think the overall season theme and mechanics are better. From June launch to now i am at 528 hours. So i know a thing or two about how it felt to where it’s at now. This should be a great season and update patch. Still a little ways to go of course as nothing is perfect for everyone but Diablo remains my favorite franchise of all time alongside Red Dead. Can’t wait to play more tomorrow after work.
I've yet to jump in i'm afraid as lies of p is my main focus. I know that when i jump back into diablo it will just take over all my spare time so i'm going to stick to my guns and finish lies of p first..
Still crossplay disabled. Playing this game with my partner in PC this is a heavy problem for me
