When RoboCop: Rogue City was announced and then we got our first glimpse of gameplay, we assumed that it was little more than a mission-based shooter. But no, there's actually a lot more to it, as the title's newest trailer shows ahead of its 2nd November release date.
RoboCop's got a branching skill tree, if you can believe it — and this ties into a whole side of the game that we didn't anticipate: detective work. Indeed, you'll be questioning witnesses and suspects, collecting evidence, and making important dialogue choices. Rogue City is teetering into Deus Ex territory with this kind of structure.

Isn't this the same Devs behind the pretty solid Terminator Resistance? That game was also more then just a bog standard shooter as well.
In the demo they were an interesting addition and there were safes I couldn't open and some clues I couldn't fully scan as I opted to have the bullet ricochet from the movie as my early upgrade. I did enjoy the mini open world and investigating crimes and hopefully there's a nice blend of that and the straight up shooting levels in the final game. Its very high up on my most wanted list
@carlos82 there is a demo for it? The game looks promising
@JalapenoSpiceLife only on PC for now
Their Terminator game was good. I have good expectations
It does look pretty solid. I think it will be a 7 out of 10. Which isn't a bad thing.
@DennisReynolds Yes. It is yet another Polish studio based in a gorgeous city of Kraków.

Robocop will be the sleeper hit of the year!
I'll buy that for a dollar (because SOMEONE had to say it)
I’m really looking forward to Spider-Man 2, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t more excited for RoboCop. I still occasionally play RoboCop vs the Terminator on my Sega Genesis because I’m a HUGE RoboCop fan (it’s my favorite movie) and there hasn’t been a truly good Robo game in decades. I’m super hyped for this as it’s right up my (dystopian Detroit) alley.
@RobN it’s kind of required on every RoboCop article or video 😂
The game looks really cool, but my goodness, the frame rate looks abysmal.
First western video game I preordered in 5 years.
A shame that the following will not be in the game:

If this is good, I hope Rebellion notices and tasks them to make a Judge Dredd game. I want to chase Aussie sky surfers and send crims to the Resyk.
Having played the demo, I'm expecting this to be this year's Evil West
@carlos82 ah I see, I guess I have no choice but to wait for the console version as it's uncertain if it would run fair on my gaming laptop at all lol
@sonicmeerkat I'm that slight close to buying this game day 1 and I don't do that often, but for a franchise such as this it's tempting, I have to put my guard up and wait after release before taking the plunge first, I don't want to feel like I'm wasting my money buying day one like most games these days
@Kraven red flags shown already? 🤔
When you look back at what movie adapted games they were on the mega drive and snes to today's consoles it's shocking.
It's about time games like this get shown some love and made for the newer gen consoles
