Sony's marketing machine for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is in full force. We've just seen a cinematic promo that'll likely be popping up on TV, and now, clothing brand Adidas has unveiled a new range of apparel and shoes inspired by the upcoming game.
The only item we've been able to get a proper look at is the Peter Parker/Venom shoes. Online retailer Tillys has the pair listed, and as you can see, they have a similar design to the limited edition Spidey PS5 accessories. They're mostly red, with white and blue details, of course referring to Peter's iconic costume. However, the sole of the shoe is black and textured like the symbiote, and it's encroaching up onto the main part of the trainers. They look pretty good!
As well as the sneakers, the collection includes "the Adizero 12.0 football cleat, sweatshirts, compression tights" and more. Everything will be available for purchase on the same day the game launches — 20th October.
Interestingly, the collaboration doesn't end there; apparently, some of New York City's inhabitants will be rocking Adidas-brand clothing and footwear as they wander around.
What do you think of this promotional range? Will you grab some Spider-Man sportswear as well as the game itself? Let us know in the comments section below.

While they look amazing and I'd buy them in a heartbeat, they're a bit expensive for me, unfortunately.
Those look like clown shoes.
Nice if you're under 15.
They look nasty. What would you wear with them?
Please don't let my sons see these.
They'd have to pay me to wear them if they want me to advertise the game. I'd rather spend that money on the game plus other games and some reasonably priced non-garish footwear.
They are completely spoiled by the black lines (which I assume are supposed to represent Venom). I wouldn't have bought them anyway, but it's a shame to see the design ruined like this. They would just look like they have got dirty...
@LifeGirl All your other Spider-Man stuff, of course.
It looks ok. 🕷spiderman 2 is going to be amazing.word up son
They are awful
Hossa! Adidas has often been Microsoft's partner to go. The kicks look nice tho.
Aside from the black buttom I think they look pretty nice actually ☺️.
Do they light up and play a tiny rendition of the Spider-Man theme if you click your heels together?
Remove the blue and only make the sole black, not going upwards and I'll buy these in a heart beat!
I suspect the the real world Peter Parker would have probable went with an American brand trainer. A bit of a sad collab really.
The guy looks like he is wearing a 5years olds dream outfit might as well be wearing spider man jim-jams.
But they can't add a disc to a Collectors Edition with a steelcase.....
I used to have a blue adidas hoodie when I was in HS. It was my signature hoodie
Should have stuck with Nikes/Jordans.
$220 for a single pair of sneakers ur not even wearing most of the time wtf ima stick with my $60 pair that I buy once a year
Get Jenna Ortega to wear them and they will sell triple the amount. It would also be funny to see her wear Spiderman trainers condering her brand deal with Addidas.
Should've been Batman ones since these Spider Man games are just total conversion mods of Batman: Arkham.
Nerrrrrrrrrds!
@nessisonett ..sold !!
Looks like someone has been running on a newly tarred road oops. These might appeal to the black hoody CEX brigade though.
Well theres a thing. I hate all 'sneakers', Im a little too old to have grown an affection for them in my youth.
But I think these look great. Im not about to go and order them or anything, but I appreciate the strong design.
If I can get my hands on a pair, I'm buying them.
