The first of two expansions for Dead Island 2 has now launched on PS5 and PS4, titled Haus. Featuring a new storyline, location, weapons, and skill cards, it sees your character let loose in a "surreal, psycho-horror dreamscape" inside a big Malibu villa. Check out the launch trailer above.

The DLC is priced at £9.99 / $12.99 standalone, or you can opt for the Expansion Pass for £24.99 / $29.99 to guarantee yourself access to the second expansion. Upon purchase of the latter, you also get Red's Demise Katana.

The story setup for the cult-themed Haus is as follows: "A secret billionaire’s techno-death cult fights for survival amidst the Zompocalypse." It continues: "The Kult are paragons of a new future, shown to them by their enigmatic leader and prophet - Konstantin. Explore their sinister and debaucherous world as you navigate the cult’s twisted ideology." Inside the manor, you'll find new weapons like the K-ROSSBOW, Hog Roaster, and Dead Islands. You can also customise your build with eight new Skill Cards.
