Devolver Digital marches to the beat of its own drum, and we're here for it. The indie label has just published a holiday special video, as it's done the last couple of years, and while it's patently ridiculous, it does at least offer a new glimpse at some upcoming PlayStation games.
Once you get past the musical number, if you can call it that, we get into some off-the-wall presentations of Devolver's future titles. Most pertinent for those on PS5 are The Plucky Squire and Baby Steps, which are both still looking great in their own ways.
We enjoyed this slice of silliness, and thought you might too. Are you excited for Devolver's games of 2024? Let us know in the comments section below.

Really looking forward to Plucky Squire. Sure it’s not AAA FF7R2 or the like, but it just looks like fun. 😁
Edit: Didn’t realize it was going to be that long, turned it off 2/3 of the way thru b/c Baby Steps wore me out.🤷🏻♂️
Usually a big fan of the games Devolver publishes but nothing here really interests me besides the Plucky Squire.
Yeah, most of this looks pretty great to me… looks like Devolver’s going to have a robust year in 2024
I'm really looking forward to Plucky Squire as always.
The only other game here that caught my eye was Pepper Grinder. In a way it feels like it could be a spiritual follow-up to Game Freak's Drill Dozer (only more fast-paced and challenging) that I never knew I wanted until now.
Nice! I love Devolver’s quirky antics.
Baby steps looks like a (ugly) money printer. I don't see any problem with Sony investing in a couple of streamer games.Those things sell a lot and it actually looks fun ... for people who aren't snobs about entertainment lol.
Plucky Squire and Pepper Grinder looked really good to me really peaked my interest and I had fun watching the trailer. And maybe Anger Foot at the right price.
Devolver = Broforce!
But Omnibus and Sticked In look like wacky fun!
And the Plucky Squire looks a bit, dare I say it, Media Molecule?
