Baldur's Gate 3's massive Update 5 rolled out last week, bringing a swathe of changes and fixes, new features like Honour Mode, an all-new epilogue, and even making Minthara easier to recruit. The list of tweaks is extensive and detailed, but developer Larian Studios left at least one big swinging surprise for players to discover in their own time.
If you felt the thing presumptive Game of the Year Baldur's Gate 3 needed was realistic penis and testicle jiggle physics, then boy, do we have good news for you. Fans quickly discovered the unexpected addition, which adds the bounce you'd expect out of Team Ninja to the fantasy world of Faerûn. You can find examples in the Twitter thread below; we'll let you peruse them at your leisure to avoid getting anyone in trouble at work. Kotaku did essential journalism and conducted further testing for those interested.
What do you think of this unexpected addition to Baldur's Gate 3? Did you find yourself surprised over the weekend? Bounce into the comments section below.

Hahaha, and yet another reason why this game deserves GOTY!
The more realism the better. I take it the game already has realistic physics on breasts too, or did Sony look down on that here too as they seemingly have for any game out of Japan? The fake boob look is not my favourite.
Edit: Nope, a very quick google search shows they both dislike larger breasts and prefer the silicon look. Or at least Sony does.
Still, I’m hopeful that having c-*k physics will lead to a greater acceptance of boob physics. Surely such hypocrisy cannot bear careful scrutiny.
Weird how when people complain about the lessening of boob jiggle in a game (Zenless Zone Zero), they're considered "immature", "toxic" or even "incels", but then the people applauding the addition of d**k jiggle are not viewed the same.
Double standard much?I am for myself an universal jigglist, not a selective one. : )
I don't think this needed it's own article. 🙄
@B_Lindz and, yet, you chose to comment on it…
Does that mean there were jiggly wiggly boobs in the game already? Because usually that's considered sexist and whatnot.
Anyway, most over hyped (and rated but that's subjective opinion anyway) game in quite a long time.
@Sarcasmatwork Your comment makes no sense
GOTY HOORAY FOR SWWWING BATTER BATTER
@Grimwood you forgot to add "in my oppinion" at the end.
I started the game last night and i was more disappointed to see the lack of facial customisation available in a game as in depth as this. I was surprised to click the hide clothing tab tho and be greeted by a 10" Mr real. Only time the wifes ever took notice of a video game 😂
There is a thin line between "gratuitously sexist" and realism. Here, it is probably the latter being as it is equal opportunity.
That is all I will say on the matter though. I am not interested in an argument with a Gamergater today.
Well time to boot up the game then.
@LifeGirl
Unfortunately it is not equal opportunity as realism only applies to the men. All women have the “young girl pumped full of solid silicon” look that Sony seem to prefer 🤷♂️
Bear Druids are very happy now.
@thefourfoldroot1 True. As I say, thin line.
Lengthy patch notes.
@ApostateMage
I swear the article is to blame for me reading your username as "prostatemassage"
Some proper killjoys on here today! You need some fun articles now and again to lighten things up.
@Olmaz Couldn't have said it better myself, some people just have an agenda against anime and it's tropes but no problem with things like this, and realistic games with breasts shown and games with violence etc
Double standards indeed.
@BrettAwesome Somebody's woken up with morning wood.
As if I didn’t find this game hard enough
Kinda wish my Teef-ling had soft body boobs, it was a bit odd the way they just thrust skywards when she was on her back during her last romp... Saying that gravity does work strangely inside the Astral Prism...
I like things to can move the right way.that should do it for baldurs gate 3 winning game of the year.word up son
Maybe if the characters did more c**k pushups, they wouldn't jiggle so much! 🤣
Now the game deserves GotY. We have physics of all kinds.
Some poor programmer really got the shaft.
Why are we calling a game that had the ending as part of the cut content GotY? BG3 has lowered gaming standards overall, and they literally started, only started, patching in the ending 4 months after release.
And to be honest, this one is just kind of gross… and a huge distraction from actual issues. Sadly their attention grabbing is working like a charm.
Finally I can play the game now!
@Jaz007 agree. This game feels like it was made just to please some h*rny DND weirdos.
@Jaz007 I disagree with the "gaming standards", as the game as it launched was an incredible achievement in my opinion.
But I agree there were issues that should have been made more clear to everyone, mainly a rush ending and an almost unplayable Act III (which really became unplayable after a patch). We're here in the grey area of GOTY with this kind of game : what it aimed to do and what it achieved to do surpasses every other in such a way a lot of people manage to not see (or not care about) its pretty big flaws.
As for the marketing, I agree 100% : I'm very saddened at the way Larian made a point of putting "bear sex" in the forefront (and I'm even more disappointed in the general reaction about in gaming media), or even hyping out the "horniness" of the game. The game really didn't need this to be hyped and the marketing around it felt gross.
Just to be fair, at least this time they didn't even acknowledge the d**k physics in their patch, but maybe that was intentional : letting someone discover it made it even more newsworthy in their mind... idk
I'm still not getting why everyone seems to love the bestiality so much. I mean why is that something people enjoy in a game? I mean if it's old fashioned not to like bestiality then please call me old fashioned

@Blaze215 Oh no, I know the answer we get when we point out the obvious double standard, sit down now :
Fighting against oppression necessitates an inversion of values. By ridiculizing the idolized male member, we use the patriarchy's own tool against it and it acts as the empowerment of women, while the "boob jiggle" is based on the millennia of oppression the male gaze imposed on women with their depiction in media. As proof, see how we still censor words like "d*ck" and "c*ck" but write "boobs" openly.
I've read too much of this sh*t I can't unread it anymore...
It's telling that certain outlets are frothing at the mouth over this, but if a game has breasts that react in any way to the laws of physics, well...

If this game was Japanese and had an anime aesthetic I'm sure Kotaku would have a less jokey reaction to it.
@B_Lindz It def did.You didn't need to click on it either.
This is funny and surprising and great at the same time.
Ha ha only fair....dead or alive had ' breast inertia ' settings years ago. I hope this gets added also for the 'completionists' 🤣🤣
@TruestoryYep Sounds like you are more focused on that, than the actual game itself. Must be insecurities, idk. Because the game has something for everyone. Straight and not so straight. Which at the end end it barely matter is just another addition to a game that is for a mature audience. I seriously don't see your logic on "just to appeal to virgins", and gay nonetheless.
I created an account just to comment that I appreciate the straight to the point nature of this article you didn't belabor the point, you just told me the necessary information about the BG3 swinging penises update! Thank you!!
Drake meme....
Breast jiggle physics 🤬😡😠
Penis & balls physics 😍🤩👍
Does it bother me? No, just the double standard and hypocrisy is hilarious.
