The PS Store's January Sale got started part way through December, and it was already enormous, but how about thousands more deals? That's what Sony's now offering, having just extended the sale with just over 2,000 more PS5 and PS4 games. Discounted until 17th January, the range of titles included is massive, as you can see via psprices.
So, what's worth checking out? It'd be impossible to list out absolutely everything, but we can certainly make a handful of recommendations from this new batch:
- A Way Out (£3.74/$4.49)
- Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot (£14.99/$14.99)
- Guacamelee! 2 (£3.99/$4.99)
- Horizon Forbidden West (£32.99/$29.99)
- Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged (£31.49/$34.99)
- Humanity (£16.49/$19.79)
- LEGO 2K Drive (£29.99/$34.99)
- Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (£33.74/$37.49)
- Lumines Remastered (£3.59/$4.49)
- Need for Speed Unbound (£10.49/$10.49)
- One Piece Odyssey (£23.99/£23.99)
- Overcooked: All You Can Eat (£13.99/$15.99)
Obviously, this is far from exhaustive; there's a ridiculous number of games and add-ons going cheap. You can browse everything via the above link, PS Blog, or on PS Store itself, and you might also want to check out PlayStation Direct's physical offers in the UK.

There aren't many games that are cheap enough for me to consider them a good deal but if I had to pick one it would be Wo Long at £31
@riceNpea wo long is £20 on the game collection at the moment.
This January sale is really disappointing imo. I got PS credit for christmas and still havnt found anything to spend it on.
@Kidfunkadelic83 I know it's cheaper physical but every game is cheaper physical from day 1. For an extra tenner I'd pay for the digital version in a sale.
I agree, overall the sale is the worst end of year sale Sony has ever put out.
Honestly sometimes I want the digital games because I don't have room for cases in my apartment but a lot of times the newer games are just so much cheaper physically.
I don't know about you guys in Europe but I've been getting extremely lucky finding cheap physical games in the US. I got Wo Long for $30 about a month after release. I got Lords of the Fallen, Lies of P, Armored Core, Final Fantasy XVI for also about $30 each. I got Street Fighter the collector's edition for $40. I just got Need For Speed Unbound for $5 on clearance the other day... There is really no point for me to buy digital because they're always cheaper physical before digital.
Lumines is a good deal of fun for less than 5 bucks.
Ooh I've just seen Moss is on sale for PSVR2, I've been waiting to pick that up, a bit of a shame Horizon was priced absurdly high as its still pretty pricey even in a sale. I might get Walkabout Mini Golf and some of its dlc too
Just wish to buy YS IX but I have so much to play and Yakuza 8 at the end of January
Agree that physical games are cheaper these days especially for PS4 and PS5. Nintendo Switch on the other hand, good luck with that, especially 1st party.
@MKD88 Maaaan you're so lucky. Every now and then i find new games at really cheap price here in Italy. The last game i found was Tales of Arise at 10€ 4 months after the release, same for LiS True Colors. But yeah, they usually sell like hot cakes, so is not easy to find them 😭😂
@carlos82 shame you missed the Moss and Moss 2 deal when PSVR2 came out. Get them if you haven't already.
50% off on Hogwarts Legacy. Now they are speaking my language.
@riceNpea definitely getting them in this sale
Oh and I've just seen that Mini Golf game has dlc based upon Labyrinth, so that's getting bought as well, I love that film
@Generiko1999 I actually got Tales of Arise for $5 along with Tiny Tina for $5 and Strangers of Paradise for $10. I have so many games that I got on the cheap but haven't even played those yet.
I'm pretty sure Gran Turismo 7 was added for $30. Spotted Remnant 2 also for $30.
Edit - GT7 for PS5 is $40
There's a lot of fairly old games on my PS4 wishlist with no discount at all...
In for more Guacamelee
Man, I still haven’t beat One Piece Odyssey despite loving it. Got through Alabasta but then started going through all the Yakuza games until I caught up. So, I haven’t gotten back to it yet.
Yes, I’m getting constant notifications from the PS app about all of my 💙 games being on sale!
@riceNpea That's crazy talk 🤣
@Discol76 what is?
I picked up the Stanley Parable for $10 (PS4) and Walkabout Golf for PSVR2 for about $10.
Got read dead redemption 2...beat it on Xbox years ago ...and have been having the urge to play it again so bought it for ps
removed Deliver Us Mars from my list for constant reminders it’s on sale. Too bad!
