Vanillaware’s anticipated tactical RPG Unicorn Overlord will march to PS5 and PS4 from 8th March, and you’ll be able to start planning your adventure from 23rd February, when a free demo will release on the PS Store. The digital download is already available on the Nintendo Switch, but it’s timed exclusivity will expire within the next 24 hours.
Crucially, any progress you make in the demo will carry forward to the full release, so you’ll be able to get started with your campaign imminently. You can check out a trailer for the demo embedded above, which will give you a taste of what to expect.

Awesome news. I downloaded the Switch demo today but haven't had a chance to get to it yet - was hoping for a PS5 demo instead. Will definitely give this a shot as soon as it's available.
Ah, I forgot about this game. I’ll definitely try out the demo. But this makes 4 games in March I need to get. This along with Dragon Dogma 2, WWE 2K24, and that Princess Peach game on Switch. Then in April, Stellar Blade. I’m cutting myself off after this, no more games. 😂
@shonenjump86 we'll see. we'll see
I'll try the demo for sure. But with Rebirth, Ronin and DD2 followed by Stellar Blade I'm pretty much all booked. Then June now has Shadow of the Erdtree which looks really interesting and they are saying they're making more unique open world experiences which was my biggest issue.
@breakneck you not gettin smt5 vengeance or gundam breaker 4? Man this year is packed for games my wallet feels really light
@BansheeNorn I only have a few hours a day to play 😭. I want to play SMT VV but it's all a matter of finding the time and space to play it all. I'm even waiting for a sale to get P3R and LAD IW.
I'm loving this sudden comeback of demos. Keep 'em coming!
I know I’ll love this so probably skip the demo.
My main issue is how I’m going to juggle my time between this and Rebirth. Luckily they should be different enough to be able to have both going simultaneously. In theory 😂
24 hour timed exclusivity made me chuckle.
Unicorn overlords does looks really good.word up son
I don't usually care much for demos, but I can't get a feel for the gameplay from the videos about this game at all, so I'm gonna see for myself if I can live with this seemingly action-tactics hybrid.
Good to know the demo is coming to PS
