Helldivers, additional help is on the way in the form of the Democratic Detonation Warbond, which comes loaded with the latest peace-keeping/pacification implements imported fresh from the forges of Super Earth, along with all-new armour sets. It drops next week, on 11th April.
Primary weapons include the BR-14 Adjudicator Rifle, an armour-penetrating assault rifle; the R-36 Eruptor Rifle, a bolt-action rifle which fires jet-assisted, shrapnel-filled rounds; and the CB-9 Exploding Crossbow, which deals additional damage upon direct impact.
In terms of extras, the G-123 Thermite Grenade can stick to most things and turn them into an inferno, and we're particularly excited for the GP-31 Grenade Pistol, which should allow for a quick way to close Bug holes on the go. Additional armour will be available in the form of the CE-07 Demolition Specialist (light), CE-27 Ground Breaker (medium), and FS--55 Devastator (heavy). The Expert Extraction Pilot Booster rounds things out, reducing the time it takes for the extraction Pelican to arrive.
We don't know about you, but we're still getting to grips with the last round of weapons dropped in the Cutting Edge Warbond, particularly the LAS-16 Sickle. It feels like developer Arrowhead is spoiling players at this point. Don't forget the surprise, free drop of Support weapons like the Heavy Machine Gun and Quasar Cannon we got. The latter feels essential right now, and they were only released last week.
You can do your part to support the ongoing Galactic War effort by investing in the Democratic Detonation Warbond (or any other) for the low, low price of just 1,000 Super Credits (earnable in-game, or around $9.99), and you have as long as you like to unlock the many wonders contained within.
