There are a lot of things to discover in Stellar Blade, but the primary type of collectible is cans. As you explore the PS5 console exclusive’s Naytiba-inhabited world, you’ll discover all sorts of tins, ranging from iced coffee to soda. All of these brands, however, are fictional – because Korean developer Shift Up wasn’t able to secure a partnership with a real-life manufacturer like Pepsi or Coca-Cola.
“We tried to, but no can brands would partner with us to have a collaboration, so we had to create them all originally in-house,” director Hyung-Tae Kim told Game Informer. “We also consulted someone who is an expert in designing can packaging. We hired that person to come up with designs that would make them look real. In the future, hopefully we'll be able to have a collaboration with a real-life brand. Especially Pepsi, which we are very interested in.”
There are a total of 49 cans to find in the full game, and you can discover exactly where they are as part of our All Cans Locations guide. Discovering them all unlocks a final outfit for Eve, but you can also browse your collection of cans thanks to a display constructed by accomplice Lily next to the Tetrapod.

The designs are so cool. Looking forward to photo mode so we can have some nice shots of Eve’s goofy advertising-like poses when she picks them up.
The likely follow up could have better chances to strike a deal with soda companies.
Im guessing they dont want their brand being advertised by someone who cuts monsters in half whilst their jubblies bounce all over the place 🤷 wonder where she stores those cans anyway? 🤔🧐.
Shame this colaboration didn't happen because it is more than obvious that Stellar Blade is a spiritual successor to Pepsiman on PS1.
@Kidfunkadelic83 Cans are tiny item comparef to that energy cell she needs to bring back. That is better question
@REALAIS shes certainly got a lot of energy so i can only imagine where that goes 😂.
I bet the final outfit would have given her Pepsi Cans.
I'll see myself out.
Wow I'm glad that didn't happen tbh. What now feels like a funny/silly set of collectibles would feel like awkwardly shoved in product placement if that has gone their way. Dodged a bullet imo.
If the game gets a sequel they'll definitely have real brands for the cans in my opinion. I guess this was just a case of the series being new/unproven.
@Kidfunkadelic83 Would have been better than Kendall Jenner ending racism 😂
Should have gone with Bepis then

@Czar_Khastik Now that was funny. lol.
Product placement in AAA games is annoying AF. Glad it didn't happen.
Why would they be “especially” interested in Pepsi? Everyone knows Coke > Pepsi. Is that a cultural thing?
@Stevemalkpus Psh! Pepsi > Coke! Though I think I'm fairly alone in that.
Glad the Collab didn't happen, and really, with made up brand names, you can have a lot more fun with the names etc.
@PrettyPawsome your not. Id always take Pepsi over Coke 🤜🤛
I agree. Some of the made up names for some of the items in Pikmin are hilarious. If they were just named after the actual items it would have been boring.
Eg the lemon is known as a face wrinkler 😂
I love how she is always so happy she found a can that she has to strike a pose with it every time she finds one. Makes me laugh every time! I wish I got that excited every time I bought me a Pepsi! 😄
It’s for the best this didn’t happen for the game. Fortunately the commenters on the industry are typically generous with their vitriol when it comes to product placement. When it was rumored Halo Infinite would launch with Monster and Oreos themed skins, the pitchforks and torches were aimed, and I suspect Stellar Blade, regardless of quality otherwise, would’ve had a similar reaction.
Why not go with a water can brand? I've also seen a few coconut water in cans.
So those cans is in her booty.so thats why her booty is so big🤔😀.haha.word up son
"We're disappointed we couldn't get a large cash payout for product placement....err.....include brands we love in our game."
Glares at Duracell in Pikmin 3 and Mercedes in MK8.
@Kidfunkadelic83 In the words of Meryl Silverburgh:
"Women have more hiding places than men."
@GamingFan4Lyf 😂😂😂 i like a game of hide and seek 😜
@PrettyPawsome, you are not alone @Stevemalkpus is wrong.
@PrettyPawsome Pepsi all the way. But that I may have some bias due to living in the original home state for Pepsi.
@PrettyPawsome Looking at the comments, clearly you're not. Although I don't mind a Coke, I'd always much rather Pepsi. Or Pepsi Max. Or pretty much any other Pepsi other than diet. Although given the choice between that and Coke Zero...
Also glad they weren't able to sell it out, we're thrown a bazillion things every day to consume one way or another via TV and film, or even simply walking down the street.
Games should be about escapism. Well, unless the game is some sort of sim, then correct and appropriate placement enhances the experience, when done well.
Nice to see so many Pepsi lovers! It's about the only thing fueling me...
Product placement can be done well, but often it's really on the nose or too obvious, especially in movies, games are better without it really.
Should've went with Xevia.
