PSVR2 fans rejoice: Behemoth looks great. This new first-person action game comes from the makers of The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners, and the quality is on display in this new trailer, which focuses mainly on combat.
The game appears to heavily lean into melee fights with various enemy types, though you'll clearly get your hands on a variety of weapons, including bows and arrows. The titular behemoths look like a force to be reckoned with, too, and you'll be going toe-to-toe with them in a real David vs. Goliath situation.
It's difficult to convey how a VR game really feels to play in a trailer like this, so hopefully it translates well when you're in the headset. The game is scheduled for fall 2024 on PSVR2. Are you excited for Behemoth? Tell us in the comments section below.

That looks amazing!! Trusted studio as well so fingers crossed...
This is the one I've been dying to see more of.
It looks fantastic.
More games like this and Legendary Tales please. Help me scratch that King's Field itch.
We need more big games like this in VR, this looks amazing.
If the combat is as good or even better than Asgards Wrath 2 then it could be brilliant.
This was the one highlight of the show to me. This and Astro but that's bittersweet. I love Astro even as a pancake but there's no hiding that it's a gigantic middle finger to psvr customers.
@Shepherd_Tallon +1 on legendary tales. That game is fantastic.
By far the best reveal we got yesterday, imo. It looks superb.
Looks great and far better than what I envisaged which is a rare thing to say these days about games.
I do think that the scope of this project perhaps ballooned which explains the quite lengthy delay it received last year, but I think we will all be thankful for that.
Highlight of the show for me.
Same for me as the guys above here, highlight of the show! Super dynamic combat system and great graphics and atmosphere. Just look at the ripples in the pool of water in the last scene when the behemoth pounds the ground! Great stuff, i'm super stoked for this game! It's a shame Astrobot isn't PSVR 2, but it was clearly never meant to be. By the looks of it the game must have been years in development before PSVR 2 even arrived on the scene, so it has nothing to do with Sony 'abandoning' PSVR 2 or something but in all honesty i did expect a VR title from a Sony first-party studio and that was sadly absent.
Looks good. But im hoping for more than just a simple singleplayer story campagin (a play though once kinda experience).....whether its a seperate mode (ala Asgard Wraths 2 roguelite mode or a multiplayer mode)
As I can imagine it will have a premium price point for a VR game.
+1 this is easily the most exciting game from the show.
I've been playing Synapse over the last few days, and it clearly highlights how much of a difference there is between watching gameplay on a 2D screen and playing it in VR. I remember seeing it on a previous State of Play and thinking "this looks fine". But as soon as you do the Jedi thing in the game for the first time, it's like "holy fff***, this is AMAZING!".
Maybe my brain is already doing the translation, but I'm looking at this Behemoth trailer and actually thinking "wow", so...
Looks like a buy for me👍
