The new, not-quite-as-fat-as-the-last-one PS5 looks almost nice in that Sterling Silver cover! Who'd have thought?
Ff7 rebirth is £45 at Smyths Toys
WWE2k24 is £34.99
Last of us pt 1 is £37.99
Destruction all stars might be the cheapest PS5 Sony published title and they still can tried of it. Lol. Are the servers still up?
Only PS5 Slim Console Covers on sale, not disc edition.
When are they going to discount the dualsense edge? It retails at around £60 more than an Xbox Elite controller with less rear paddles, no ps4 backwards compatibility, poorer battery life and a case without a built in charging function. I really want a pro controller for my PS5 but spending over £200 is just excessive and I don’t particularly want to go third party having been burnt many times on the peripheral front.
Still expensive, Since covid games prices is not going down like in the past.
Personally I think the discounts are underwhelming. I live in Ireland. €50 off a PS5 console? It was this price before Sony increased the price to €550 and now the original price is the sale price..! PSVR2 is discounted to €500. That is still too expensive. Especially when you consider the only game worth buying psvr2 for, is GT7. That is one game.
In the flash sales Sony were having at the beginning of the year, we were seeing the PS5 getting discounted by €80. Not the €50 we're seeing here, in famous Day's of Play BIG sale. They don't have to try if people keep buying the PS5.
Wow, these are the "sale" prices?
@tinCAT-zero "Especially when you consider the only game worth buying psvr2 for, is GT7. That is one game."
Yeah, that couldn't be further from the truth. Unless you're all talking about yourself, then fair enough.
Great. So they'll discount PSVR2, but none of the games 🤦♀️
@naruball
Yeah well it's the only game that would warrant the purchase for me. Serious psvr2 without GT7 in my eyes, it is worthless.
@Fritz167
I didn't see many covers for the original phat PS5 console. That must be all forgotten about in Sony land 😊
@BrettAwesome have you checked out the sales on PS store? Plenty of discounts to be found.
@naruball
Any good ones? Call of the mountain or whatever, is always full price. So is beat saber. Or at least almost. Guess I'm gonna pick up GT7. Still...not a whole lot of fancy titles around. Mostly indies.
@BrettAwesome yes, a lot of indies, but they're really awesome and perfect for PSVR2.
Red Matter 2 is excellent, according to many people who post here and always sings its praises
Arizona Sunshine II is supposed to be great
Tetris Effect Connected is surprisingly euphoric
and many more that I've already purchased (I've only been buying PSVR2 games for the last year), so I can't see their current price.
Wow PlayStation 5 now £10 cheaper than the launch price what a bargain #sarcasm
If the Slim digital drops to £300 then I'll get it, but until then it's not worth it.
