Square Enix's colourful multiplayer game, Foamstars, is reportedly quite a flop, but the show isn't over yet. The publisher has just announced the next themed season, this time named Future Funk, and it adds some more content to the sudsy shooter.
The headline attraction this time around is the addition of three new maps across the game's modes. Smash the Star is getting Manami An, a picturesque night map set against a backdrop of a cushy resort. Ghoulish Glide Graveyard is a spooky new map for Happy Bath Survival, and finally, Rubber Duck Party gets Sing Swing Circus.
Aside from that, you're also getting limited time events such as the 2v2 One Shot Chill Party, which amps up the damage and foam output of your weapons. Another limited event is Pitchside Homerun Party, which has everyone playing as Coiff Guy. As with all previous seasons, you'll also be able to unlock new cosmetics in the Future Funk season pass.
This new season begins on 16th May — will you be hopping in? Let us know in the comments section below.

If Square keeps spending money to keep this turd around they should stop whining about their other games not selling well.
Glad to get a new map but at this point I dont think anyone plays Happy Bath Survival so it's a bit of a waste. Game is still fun though.
Not a bad game, but at this point I think it's safe to say it's not been the success Square were hoping for...
