GTA 6

Take-Two has announced in its financial earnings for the end of Fiscal Year 2023 that Grand Theft Auto 6 will release for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S during the Fall of calendar year 2025. Therefore, the open worlder from Rockstar Games could release anywhere between September and November of next year.

After suggesting an estimated Net Bookings of $5.55 billion to $5.65 billion, Chairman and CEO of Take-Two, Strauss Zelnick, said: "Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games' previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI. We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase."

There were rumours a few months ago of development issues potentially pushing the game back to 2026, but they don't appear to have manifested — at least publicly. This means GTA 6 is roughly 18 months away from its PS5, Xbox Series X|S launch, so you can entertain yourself in the meantime with our Everything We Know So Far guide. We still only have the single trailer uploaded last December to go on, and given Rockstar Games traditionally skips the E3 summer season of gaming announcements, it's anybody's guess when we'll see GTA 6 next.
