Indie heavyweight Devolver Digital has announced it will be putting on its usual digital showcase for the Summer Game Fest season, once again bringing together its unique brand of comedy and gaming announcements. The show will take place three hours after the main SGF showcase hosted by Geoff Keighley on 7th June 2024 at 5pm PT / 8pm ET / 1am BST (8th June for UK readers).
The publisher is inviting viewers to Volvy's 15th birthday party as part of the livestream, which is pitched as a "short but sweet opportunity to gather around your loved ones and celebrate gaming's favourite mascot without anything weird happening". Apparently, it'll be "exciting" and full of "totally normal festivities". Consider us there if we can sneak a slice of birthday cake or two.
While the jokes are sure to be a focus of the digital showcase, Devolver Digital does have some pretty exciting titles on its docket. The Plucky Squire and Baby Steps, both coming to PS5, will likely feature in some way. Will you stick around after the main SGF show to see what Devolver Digital has to share? Let us know in the comments below.

Everyone's anouncing a showcase meanwhile Sony keeping mum..
I’m down to clown with Volvy.
Their last Summer presentation kept me sleeping with one eye open for about a week straight so if this one doesn't put me in a shock-induced coma then its an immediate 0/10 XD
Looking forward to seeing Plucky Squire here myself; been looking forward to that one ever since it first got announced and I really hope they're able to finally iron out a concrete release date for it.
oh and a Volvy game wouldn't be half-bad either
Been waiting awhile for Plucky Squire, feels like it had a release date awhile back, (Edit: they said 2023 in 2023 in a YT vid) but Friday at 8PM in June is not ideal. Plus, 3 hours AFTER the SGF showcase means most people will still be talking about that. So that's 2 strikes against it.

Volvy returns. Devolver just won E3.
I love Devolver and their shenanigans. If nothing else, it seems like they are have more fun than any other publisher.
Hopefully we get a Plucky Squire release date.
Waiting for that Plucky Squire. Looks so interesting.
