A colourful new game mode is coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in the form of Bit Party. The pixel-inspired action kicks off Season 4, which goes live today, 26th June. Earning kills in this mode will cause the killer's head to grow in size, making the headshot required to end the streak that much more straightforward. Hilarity will almost certainly ensue.
In this specific Playlist Modifier, there are three big head sizes to watch out for small, medium, and large. The bigger your head, the more points you earn for subsequent kills, and once you inevitably bite the bullet, the entire sequence starts again from scratch. This will work differently according to the specific modified game modes, with a massive head allowing objectives to be captured more quickly in Domination, for example.

What do you think of Call of Duty's pixel-inspired take on the classic Big Head mode? Let us know in the appropriately sized comments section below.

My son is going to love that!
ooff.. the 8 bit music together with fast paced call of duty gameplay does not sit well with me. also just replacing the assets does not make the game appear more "retro" to me. But as an old gamer I may be sensitive to that. Wishing everyone all the fun with it!
This is a wild conversation…
@htht you must be a true vampire as your post sucks.
Scraping the barrel....
It’s still cod , no matter what skin it has . Same generic rubbish and toxic community
Is that the favella map?
I haven't raised eyebrow towards COD out of interest in over a decade, especially because of their crap maps.
Interesting...
@kailun
Old school COD4/MW2 lobby toxicity was amazing. What are you talking about?
Also, who plays COD to listen to randoms anymore? At one point you just mute everyone, because it's not a game where tactics or teamwork come into play.
It's just dumb shooting
Just COD trying to be Fortnite by filling up the kitchen sink and ending up being even more of a black hole of nonsense devoid of any personality (just like Fortnite).
Maybe Activision should try making a new game/IP instead of continually watering down their Mature-rated military shooter with this stuff.
Like, it looks good, sure. It'll play as tightly as any COD, of course. But... it has no place inside COD. They have literal billions of dollars. Just throw together some new games and release 'em. What's the worst thing that could happen? It's popular and makes money? Your company value is strengthened by outputting more original content for more ages?
This stuff just... isn't it.
@Specky I don't know I had no headset with any COD game I think it was for the best.
