
A Destiny 2 clan has heroically cleared The Final Shape expansion's raid, unlocking the game's true final mission for all players to undertake. The 12-player Excision mission is now live, which can be accessed by opening the Pale Heart destination from the director screen and scrolling over to the right.
PC Gamer detailed the achievement in full, but in a gruelling 18-hour marathon effort, team Parabellum became the first clan to claim the world's first completion of the Salvationon's Edge raid. The epic ordeal saw some of the game's best players banging their heads against esoteric puzzles and overcoming tough combat encounters.

Some of my kids friends tried this for 12 hours before they bailed. My kid passed, figuring it was too long of an ordeal. Congrats to those who beat, got their money’s worth in bragging rights.👍
My clan couldn't crack the first encounter Friday/Saturday, and there's some really capable players in that fireteam. Looking forward to over-levelling and then rolling through it later in the season - that's my normal approach to raid drops
The final mission this unlocked was good carthasis... if you haven't done it yet make sure you have helmets turned off for cutscenes.
Don't blame me if the onion cutting ninja's attack you though.
