Two guest characters from Fatal Fury will join Street Fighter 6’s roster in its second season of content, as Terry Bogard and Mai arrive in fall and winter respectively. They’ll be preceded by M Bison this summer, while Elena will arrive in Spring 2025. You can check out a cinematic featuring all four fighters above.
There’s very little additional information available at this stage, but presumably all four characters will be available as part of a Season Pass, which is how Capcom has been handling Street Fighter 6’s DLC updates thus far.

I would've preferred two more SF characters instead of Mai and Terry, but still a cool group of fighters none the less.
This is absolutely insane. I was thinking it was first City of the Wolves' opening cinematic, then Luke and Jamie show up, and then Terry busts in with Mai and then Elena and I'm just on the floor. I'm definitely gonna be playing Terry when he comes out and I'm so excited for these characters. SF just keeps taking W's
Capcom vs. SNK lives on!
NOW THIS IS TRUE LOVE WE'RE MAKIN BABY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
One of the most shocking fighting game announcements I think we've had in a very long time. While I do have some slight grievances with the overall roster choices (Mai feels kinda unnecessary and did we REALLY need Bison back?) but goddamn man seeing Terry goddamn Bogard, the main character from a series specifically designed to be a true successor to Street Fighter 1, finally make his way into SF proper feels absolutely INCREDIBLE 😭
Super cool to see Terry and Mai.
sigh...i would feel hype if i'm not against the idea of guest characters in a mainline game.
So this is just sucks for me since i expect more classic characters and now two slots are wasted for Terry and Mai, which if i want to played them then i could just boot up KOF, Fatal Fury, or CVS 2 if i want to see them fight against SF characters. Heck, City of the Wolf will release next year and i bet Mai will be playable in there.
And Bison can't stay dead huh. It makes A Shadow Falls arc in SF 5 kinda pointless :/
My jaw was about to hit the floor thinking they were going to announce a new Capcom vs SNK but this was still a pretty cool announcement.
Then SNK was like "hold my poodle!" and comes out guns blazing with City of Wolves.
I wouldn't have ever predicted this! I am intrigued to see how Capcom adapts the SNK characters. Only 4 characters again is a little bit disappointing, but I'm still excited for the next year!
Pretty bummed about this. Nothing against SNK or Fatal Fury, but I don't want guests in SF, especially when there's dozens of existing characters fans want to see return.
I'm not really excited about a single character in season 2, and that's a shame. I'd rather just play as Terry in Garou 2 next year.
I’d generally be rubbed the wrong way by
guest characters but Mai and Terry fit so well! And we’ll get to see them in the RE engine. Elena is one of my fave SF3 addition…the new body Bison lacks the iconic design of the dictator and he could have stayed dead for longer
Gotta say, none of these characters really speak to me personally very much. I'm not much of a KOF guy and I'm really not a fan of Elena. Bison is always cool but I don't know. I was kind of ready to embrace JP as the new main baddie at least for a while but oh well.
At the same time though it is pretty cool to see guest fighters in an SF mainline title for the first time and who knows? Maybe the KOF characters will grow on me when I try them for myself.
To be honest I wish it was 6 characters instead 4. This is still cool nonetheless though. We have a mini Capcom vs SNK here.
Great two guests from a series I've never played, a character that I don't care about and villain that should be dead 😑
Elena my love!❤️
And holy ****! Street Fighter gets 3rd-party guests in a mainline title? Didn't see that coming. Both Terry and Mai are a good start though.
I know Bison is a classic and all, and I'm not surprised he's back but he should have stayed dead. I rather have Gill and/or Urien in his place instead.
