We can't wait for Metaphor: ReFantazio, and our current excitement for the RPG largely stems from the game's first showcase, which aired back in April. With that in mind, another showcase sounds like a great idea, and that's exactly what we're getting. Set for the 7th June, this is another full presentation from developer Atlus, so you can expect more gameplay footage alongside explanations of systems and mechanics.
It's happening on the same day as the Summer Game Fest show, but it goes live several hours later, at 6pm PT / 9pm ET. Unfortunately for us here in Europe, that means a vey late start at 2am BST / 3am CEST. At least it's the weekend, eh?
The previous showcase gave us a rundown of the game's overall structure, confirming that, in a lot of ways, Metaphor is basically medieval fantasy Persona (we're not complaining). As such, we can see this second showcase dipping into more detail.
We've still got over four months until Metaphor's release on the 11th October, so we're left wondering about how many of these showcases Atlus has planned. How many of these things would you watch? Try not to spoil everything in the comments section below.

@Malaise That's incorrect, I've blackmailed every Push Square writer into signing a contract that says all of us are massively excited for Metaphor.
This is great. I'm so ready for something new out of Atlus. I miss the sheer variety of their output on handhelds and older consoles.
Is medieval fantasy Persona not just SMT IV? That aside, it would be nice to get some variety from Atlus. They had wayyyy more on the go back in the DS days.
I can’t decide if I like the game’s title. “Metaphor: ReFantazio” sounds just cringe enough to be offputting, but I give them props for not calling it something generic like “Legend of the Fantasy Chronicles” or some such. But really, what is a Fantazio and why is it being Re-peated? And of what is it a metaphor?
@Th3solution maybe all will be revealed either in the showcase or in the game
In any media, very few things get me hyped up any longer. The only thing in video games lately has been the Like a Dragon series (3 games in 12 months). But for some reason, I am unusually excited for this game.
@ShogunRok as you should have. You did the right thing 😎
Wish this had a full action mode. My turn-based days are done.
@MikeOrator I have the same weird excitement, even though I should have had my fill playing, and finishing, all these Persona type games last year.
