Starlight Games, a relatively new UK studio founded and led by veteran devs, has pushed back the launch of its debut title, House of Golf 2. The news comes alongside a new trailer, announcing the new release date of 16th August, 2024. The game was initially planned for release on 25th July, so the crazy golf title is only a couple of weeks or so behind.

In a press release, founder Gary Nichols calls the game "a labour of love", explaining the reasoning behind the new date. "The slight delay of release allows us to implement a final few tweaks and additions to the development of House of Golf 2, and players be able to put their putting skills to the test across many challenging yet wild courses."

As mentioned, House of Golf 2 is the first game under the Starlight Games banner. The team has multiple projects on the horizon, including a "futuristic sports title" and a roguelite strategy game.
